anyone complain before ???

i just complain and my email goes like this

Dear sir/madam,

I am a motorcycle rider who frequently enters Malaysia. I wish to complain about the constant jam at the woodlands checkpoint. It is very frustrating and also hazardous when we are queuing up at the checkout. The elements(weather) and the exhaust given out by the bikes in a crowded queue is really bad for the physical and mental health of the motorcyclist. Unlike vehicles like cars and trucks , they have the luxury of air conditioning and filtration systems which minimizes their risks to hazardous exhaust coming from motor vehicles.

It is always saddening and frustrating having to wait every time at the causeway. Is there like a minimum waiting time ? or is there a better system your can deploy to efficiently screen through bikes ? or do you all need to open more lanes and employ more man power at the causeway ? This in its turn when waiting at the causeway every time for 2 hours is really a very bad sign of a system that is not efficient.

What does it show to the world of our system ? and also the mas selamat saga should prompt ica to take appropriate action so as not to inconvenience the public and make things as smooth sailing as possible.

I am truly disappointed in the system and I hope the authorities can do something about the huge jams at the causeway and make life just a little easier for us Singaporeans and also our fellow Malaysians and other friends from other countries.

I request a response and you may do it via email or at my number at

Thank you so much

Yours,

Jeremy

i doubt they will do anything about it. heck, im not suprised that the person who reads it will say, 'dont like the jam, dont go in lah'.

but who knows, by some miracle, they do take it seriously. den u can sleep easy knowing that u made riding a more comfortable experience. :D

i am pretty sure our malaysian counterparts commuting daily to and fro woodlands checkpoint could already gave their numerous feedback to the authorities ..

This bike congestion problem already exists a fair way back liao ..

haha i doubt got use. if really they take it seriously, they would have done something abt it long ago. you a singaporean that enters m'sia FREQUENTLY, but what abt the m'sians who enter DAILY? haha ica will think, m'sians nv complain you complain for what? anyways its the same as the PIE morning jam. complain also no use i think. its just too many vehicles at the same place at the same time.

if they widen the lanes, i don't think they have enough capable manpower to handle the jammed situations.

Is the BIKES lane much faster?

If the queue extends all the way to the top of the bridge on BKE.... unless you got a flying bike, just switch off your engine, put your legs down, take out helmet and try to breathe less...

the BIKES lane is just 20 meters away from the main queue... so you need to push, ride, horn, squeeze to the last 20m before filtering out to BIKES lane.

And TS, i think i saw this similar article on TNP couple of years back. Customs suggests that we enter neighbouring countryat non-peak hours which is dunno what time.. And try to use TUAS checkpoint.

thats good effort, but did anyone realise, that even after the mas selamat incident toned down, its like the jams got worser than it already was? i thought, stand down already shud be better, now why did it get worse?

Thrash? Don't mind if i do.

I always believe that if you're not part of the solution, then you're part of the problem. In this case, if you don't enter M'sia, you're the solution. If you enter, then you're the problem.

TS, if you wanna complain, it's better if you come with an alternative solution or at least an idea. If you wanna whine about everything without the hint of a feasible idea, then you're wasting your time.

The only thing I can offer you is alternative times to enter M'sia. Either you enter after midnight, weekdays between 2-4 pm or Sunday afternoon. Otherwise, you just have to bear with it like I do or pump S'pore petrol...

can always go in by tuas checkpoint.

Tuas jam ends only at around 1130pm from Monday to Friday..It use to be arrive at 9pm, clear within 10mins, now is arrive at 9pm, 45mins to clear custom..

Sunday noon 1-2pm and Sunday night is the best time to go in nowadays..
