Guys, i got intention to upgrade to either cbr 600rr or suzuki gsxr k4.

 

Can anyone tell me in terms of price, performance, maintenance, which is better to get? Btw, im 25.. so wads the price of the insurance, road tax like?

Price of bikes should be around the same...Suzuki might be cheaper as the insurance is the cheapest among all brands.

Insurance is very objective. I am not sure about your age..But if your friend and you are the same age then it should be around there....

Hi bro, I am 25 this year riding a GSXR 600 K5. My insurance last year was $588 for 3rd party. Road tax is $184 per year(just renewed a few days ago, last year it was $160+).

True, Suzuki got low resale value...but the thrill of the ride is the same as other bikes. If you notice...Suzuki change new designs every 2 years...Honda CBRs and Yamaha R1/R6...not much radical change in design...

 

But in terms of mods and accessories, all makes have lots of varieties to choose from. Anyway wats the resale value of K4/K5 in the shops? I got mine in 2007 for $11K OTR...bought from friend.
