Question Abt KM/hr

funny arguement btw me and my fren. lets take all below suituation is clear traffic totally straight no car.

 

a 1500cc car travelling at 100km/hr and a Honda Sp travelling at 100km/hr too.. the car will be infront of the bike because the CC is bigger and running of 4 wheels.. GOT SUCH LOGIC ? THEN WATS THE USE OF KM/HR

 

 

so i ask him if 1500cc car and honda sp both using digital speedmeter running at 100km/hr shown at DIGITAL speedmeter.. who will be infront ? i say both will be at same pace.

 

can some one enlighten ? which is correct ?

 

wat my fren mean is BIGGER CC VEH running with small CC veh even though both is at same KM/hr the bigger cc one will be infront..

its not bout the cc bro.....its all about the speedometer......smaller bikes have a less accurate speedometer while bigger cc vehicle has a more accurate speedo reading...lets put ur example.....the car travel at 100km/h at the reading while the SP also reads 100km/h but in fact the SP is traveling at 70 to 80km/h only....digital meter also doesn't mean its accurate....it all depends on how good ur speedo reading to the actual speed.....normally u have a 10% to 20% inaccuracy for all type of meters...if u want a more accurate one the TP has the laser gun which will tell u ur exact speed but there is also a small margin of inaccuracy......lets make it simple....all things need time to travel and speed is base on time n distance ratio...........so noting will have a very accurate reading

hmm... totally agree with wad bro penyu has said.. different vehicles the speedo have different readings.. especially smaller bikes that are using speedo cable... quite inaccurate...
