Outside appearance and internal mechanism are 2 things

Changing of belt, rollers, u-shoe, engine mounting, carb wash, tyres, CDI, etc can cost more than the buying price itself :cheeky:

Bottom line is try to find out more abt the bike you're intending to buy/ride and test bike with a friend who is familiar :cheer:

i understand tat bro..but i got no frds familiar with skippers so i can only judge by outter like the tyres, sound of engine and test abit and easy to start anot..the rest is on luck liaoz.. wads the ave price of a gd condition skipper?

bike condition not very gd..brake hose gone..kick starter faulty, throttle also got prob..sounds very bo lard..

How much was the bike? If it is below $400, u can spend the extra money that you've put aside for repair. then it will be as good as new  that was what i did to my skipper :cheeky:

Hmm i dun quite understand the terms and agreement but what was the machine price of the bike he requested from you? Best is to let a mech check the bike for other faults also
