1) moving off esp, u need to open more of ur throttle when the bike moving cause with pillion, its heavier and harder to move off. balance well with ur pillion, work well as in when u body bank, make sure he follow, if not off.

 

2) riding simulator depends on how many ppl taking that lesson tt day. and best part, they dont assess u here, u can ride and crash in the simulator also they dont care. hahah

 

3) not hard, just takes practice and remember impt points and common mistake if u have.

 

4) u start pillion riding when ur in prac 4 if im not wrong.

Usually 2 pracs can complete liao... because got Pract 4a and 4b.

 

Unless u really flop until jialat, 2 prac and both is sure pass one.

 

Last time i pillion instructor and fall off from narrow plank also pass..

1) Pillion riding is compulsory for 1st timers on Lesson 4, but it will not be assess. Which means even if u made an immediate failure during pillion riding, its ok. But its a good practice to learn how to pillion.

 

2) Simulator riding also will not be assess but pls dont anyhow ride and crash. U may also learn something from there too.

 

3) Test route riding may not be that difficult. As long all course have been met their requirments, blindspots have been checked, and u did not go out of the test route.

 

4) An average time a person pass is usually the 2nd time, for Lesson 4.

well this is my tip when i inside ssdc pillion ppl

 

when move off throttle more then use ur knee grip the tank abit if possible ask ur pillion grip ur hip this will more stable this is what i feel

 

simulation ar awhile only but i feel the simulation machine abit weird weird one that one u just ride like normal just that the bike u will feel weird not like 2b bike u riding inside circuit one

 

test route inside is quite easy to rmb (slope, crank, fig 8 , e-brake , plank , pylom, go back)

 

i went prac4 twice first time becos i blur blur after crank course straight go e-brake then instructor come say hi to me then i know i jialat liao lol

 

pillion ppl not test so u just try try see which way u like but try ask the pillion grip ur hip with knee when turning so it will be more smooth if he open leg big big u will feel ur bike wobble ( for me is like this ) when pillion ppl brake dun too hard or later his helmet hit ur head haha

what if you are a female and the pillion's a guy.. how to grip..

knees grip the hip firmly only what. male or female, also the same, because its for safety and stability. most guys won't want to be misunderstood either anyway.

 

anyway, if there's only 1 girl, usually the instructor will be the pillion to minimise chance of unnecessary physical contact or violations. seen it happen a couple of times in the past.
