Normally that lights up only during the case of overheating or if ur EO gets so diluted like u been riding for non stop over a couple of days. It also could due to wrong EO rating, like using too thin EO like 5w-20w which is not suited to our climate, try changing to thick EO like 15w-30w.

Check if your EO is still inside and at the required level through the magical window at the side of the engine. If EO drops, could be 2 reasons; (1) EO is viscosity too thin, and gets burn off in the pistons - like what WingZero explain, (2) got leak somewhere.

It could also be due to low idiling. Get the idiling up should be fine (above 1k rpm please) I know a lot of people likes to go under 1k rpm, if the above situation is OK.

You should check EO level first...Too much also not good. Wish the best.

I usually adjust the idle to slightly above 0 rpm...Maybe around 3 to 5k rpm...

Reason - Petrol consumption n strong vibrations on the tank....

Glad to hear not a very expensive problem. He should be adjusting the idling screw there. Read ur booklet....will come in handy if need to do minor fine tuning.

1) Do grounding for your bike.

2) Get a FB (Furukawa) original battery at 10AH about $85..(think its FBTX12.YT is Yusah)

3) EPS Power Charger for battery and rectifier longevity.

4) X-1R into your eo.

Stupid Hurts!.:giddy:Speed doesn't kill, mistakes does :faint:

ah pek. been some time since saw u helping people with their questions. haha. anyway. i had grounding since i bought this bike. just dunno if grounding wire will get worn with time anot?

i just changed Yuasa YTZ10S which claim to be original batt for spec 3. ??

eps power charger is a device to be installed? what it does and how much? where sell?

X-1R is an addictive rite?

sorry blast u with so many questions. thanks alot bro

pek,for the grounding, does it have a significant feel after fixing and any servicing or maintenance for the cables needs to be done as time goes by?

Not sure if YTZ10S is the original..the digit normally indicate the current charging rating in Amperes. The older S4 are all YTX9. Do check you battery label print on it is it 10AH or 9 AH? The Furukawa (FBTX12S) is a 10AH

The power charger is something like RevTek or PA..but its cold current ratimg is a lot higher. Its about $155 or their newer model and usually these stuff is more efficient when you have proper grounding done.

Yes, X-1R is an addidtive to eo and the eo is addicted to it ;0) Its a metal conditioner or sometime term "friction eliminator".

Significant?..YES..when its done right. There are many ways its done and I can't answer for other ppl work. You can feel the change in response immediately as the sparks in the chamber is more efficient. As for servicing or maintenance..there is nothing to it..as long as the wire is not in direct contact with heat surfaces. The colour of the wire would eventually fade due to outdoor exposure but that's normal..as long as the copper wire is OFC which does not corrode easily when isolate away from air and water.

thanks pek,can i say if there any maintenance to be done as in whichever cable is worn,we can just change that particular one ya?

u still doing grounding? if yes, able to quote me via pm and when are u available? Thanks.

Huh!?...I tot you had grounding done a long time ago. Anyway, there is no moving parts and the wire gauges do not get worn out...so nothing to change even. If bad wire or wrong ones..it get corroded and become a "resistive load" instead of a pure conductor. Anyway..if you want to use "heat shrinking" to protect the wires..you can but cost quite a bit more $s.
