I enquired with the relevant authorities on that same thought, it seems that they expect every vehicle to be registered, to be given a license plate + COE, and for the owner to do the necessary taxes/insurance -- or to lay it up at a place (and to make it stay there) if that's impossible.

To answer your question thus far: Maybe yes.

If its imported and bought brand new as a race bike, you do not need to register it. However, you'll need to register yr race bike with SMSA. You'll need their letter to own the non-registered race bike.

Of course, said bike can't travel on sgp roads. Have to be towed tru and fro.

I have two bikes under layoff status, its nearing its third year limit.

I have no intention to register it on-road as its a hassle for me to change some parts to make it legal.

I read SMSA forms, they have a Import New Bike for racing purpose. So it seems that one can own a unregistered bike in Singapore after all. I did not realise it till today!

Ok I have two questions.

1) After I join SMSA, and using the Import New bike form, can I get any bike from the bike shop in Singapore? OR do I have to really import it myself? What are the charges one has to pay for the import bike? The ARF, excise fees, GST? (I know COE and road tax no need)

2) Can I convert my existing owned bikes into race bike? Which forms should I use if possible?

3) Looking forward to get a few cute bikes like Monkey, Gorilla, Zuma, etc for some Tuas track fun.

Or is there a number which I can call and ask from SMSA?

Anoyone with information can sms me at 81345754. Thanks.
