Hi there,

 

Am new here, just stumble upon this website. Currently taking my class2B after i last stop my lesson 10years ago..

 

Not trying to promote MLM but am seriously thinkin of going into so wants to hear from people in here about MLM.. Cheers

my office has 2 person... part time MLM for 3 years...

 

but generally like what has been said before... everyone you meet now becomes a potential downline.... no longer acquaintance or friends.

MLM works! Because theres an endless supply of noobs and naive people eagar to earn money and live the dream.

 

I challenged many of my old 'friends' who suddenly called me to meet up for lunch and 'catch up'. When they finally revealed their initial objective, i challenged them to get back to me when they start earning big bucks, I'd eat my words.

 

None of them ever did.

 

If it works you for you, fine. If it doesn't, don't beg and lie your way through trying to convince me you're this close to hitting your target for promotion trying to sell me some inflated priced product.

Multi-level marketing. To name a few, big corporations such as Amway and 4Life do not sell their products traditionally on the market shelf, instead it's a people to people type of selling.

 

The pioneers sell the products to the downlines, hire them as sellers and the process repeats ad infinitum. As said, the rich ones will be the pioneers.

 

TS, if the product is the real deal, then by all means, try it out. At most, treat it as an experience if you don't make it.

 

By the way, I'm not an MLM-er. Just my two cents worth.

Dun try.. My friend got depression after trying out MLM.. Friends all kept a distance away from him.. If u dun wanna lost all ur friends and $$, dun ever try this job.. Get a more realistic job..

There are some companies who do have MLM (or networking) and do sell health supplement products that do work.

My wife is a member coz she wanted to get the 'staff' discount for her own usage. But the company doesn't impose any quotas, pressure to sell or any crap like dat. No calls in the middle of a weekend to talk about seminars and crap like dat.

In return, she doesn't do the usual MLM recruitments. No point, she says.

If people ask her, then she shows some of the brochures of the supplements she can help order.

Otherwise, she don't bother to do the downline thing.

She values friendship over materialism.

 

I just hate it when I get a call from an acquaintance about a "business opportunity".

I even had one who MSNed me in the middle of the night with a 'job opening'.

Started probing things about my pay and then demeaning it, saying its 'pretty-low' and 'normal' and that I could be earning more doing nothing.

 

Its like, I wanted to ask him, if its so successful, why are you still working your full-time job and doing extra OT to earn extra?"

 

I know how a conversation will degenerate into an MLM recruitment.

They will demean you and lower your self-esteem before offering themselves as a solution, whether its a fitness gym sales consultant or a MLM-recruiter.

GET A REAL HONEST LIVING TIME CONSUMING JOB LAH BROS/SIS..... it is not nice begging or convincing people to join unnecessarily... simply not not lah... you end up as bad label frens / cousins only...

at least insurance still has some real meaning behind it.

although technically, you are paying for nothing, until something happens.

 

MLM is just pure crap. Parasites.
