woots!!! i love my ride now~!!!!

-gush gush- went hlc today cos my footrest there still got problem since that time knock against kerb

so thought today also clear up some other stuff at the same time.

decided change to HEL brake line.... SWEEETTTT!!! i tell you. ~gush gush gush somemore~ the braking was so smooth and responsive. and using only one finger braking somemore.

then mechanic ah di helped me adjust my racing footrest, pushed it further out. got ying hao to sit pillion then they tried go for one round around the building with the humps and all. turns out my chain adjuster bolt was knocking on the exhaust when kana humps. so swopped sides for the bolt so now my chain adjuster instead of adjusting in the normal direction, have to reverse direction adjust now. then bled out my old brake oil, swopped to 5.1 dot motul racing. wahh..... feeling shiok

of cos since we were already changing the front end, might as well also bleed out the old fork oil. also changing to new oil, sighs.... ~swoons~ my bike now feels damn solid sia... ~swoons swoons~

after that pillion my gf, she also say my ride now feels so much better with more control and stability. kekekeke.... happy happy... i'd say money thoroughly well-spent. service was as usual :thumb::thumb:even got some pointers with regards to riding.... damn shiok sia...

so how many orgasms did u hav at hlc? welcome to the power of hel brake hose... one finger? cannot la... must two....

Wow.....then how much u spent? is it a lot? Thinking of installing power abuser auto when i got my pay....haha..

bro, just get the pa ignite first... skip the auto first... but after u put ignite already, then after sometime add in pa auto, then u cannot feel much difference, dun blame me ah... coz stock plus ignite, the diff is really alot...

hmm.... for the whole thing yesterday, i think one third of the amount i paid was on the brake hose. then after that was for the changing of fork oil. but i'd say money thoroughly well-spent. i've enjoyed my ride alot since then. i was quoted 160 for the whole thing.

anyway today i was riding around. was looking for those foldable buckets, cos family don't know i own bike la. then wanna wash bike gotta bring bucket. super suspicious right? don't tell me i tell them collect rainwater. somemore wash bike must choose nice sunny day, else after that kana rain spots also sian 1/2. so went to the neighborhood i lived at previously. the older part of woodlands. nearby and got lotsa old hardware stores.

bought a scissor jack for 16. cos when put my bike on mainstand, it keeps falling back on my rear wheels, so need something to push it up. couldn't find my collapsible bucket though. :sian: so after that got lotsa time cos work starts at night and gf at work. so rode around the old neighborhood. sighs.... so many things changed until i almost couldn't recognise where the old landmarks are. a bit bittersweet to go back and see the changes. even the school i attended also changed.

then after that still didn't wanna go home, so went riding around. decided to forego the expressways, and tried the small roads - a la stepkang. turned into the road leading to sungei buloh. then from there ended up at those really small, narrow roads macam country side. along the way were farms, agricultural stuffs, plants. was quite peaceful riding cos very few cars after the initial part. and major plus is no traffic lights. passed by neo tiew. then don't know how i horlan, cos i anyhow chose roads to travel, no destination mah. ended up at a deadend with the coast guard headquarters right in front of me. :sian:

after that u-turn, went straight all the way, passed by sungei kadut and the army camp i think. and ended up on this long open stretch of road. i think it was the 40 lamps place. ride ride ride all the way and somehow i found myself near ntu at jurong. :dot:

lol! after that took expressway out of jurong cos i don't know how to get back woodlands. but near toh guan, i decided to check out the new unique motorsports branch at toh guan. with a barely remembered address - i only know it's near imm - i somehow found my way there without getting lost. woman's instincts i tell you. tsk tsk... can't live without it. partly cos i saw the building's name called enterprise hub and it sounded familiar so just chanced my luck. lol! lucky! went in. hmm... next thing i'll change is my sprocket and chain set. will change to better grade, DID x-rings. was quoted 150. hmm... see if can get a better bargain. HLC!!!!

after that decided enough for the day. and took the expressway home, but turned out at upper bukit timah road to take the non-expressway route home. all in all a great day riding. lol! without pillion is better cos not so tiring and not as worrying. started off at maybe around 12? reached home at 4. kekekke... fun fun... love my bikey :lovestruck:

wah i tout u ride to coast guard there will continue straight down the ramp... wahaha... ya la ur chain need to change la... fred told me our bike no x-ring available, only heavy duty o-rings... which is way more enough le... faster go change la, ur skinny chain looks pathetic...

yo bros! anyone going jb? help me get racing boy levers? i wanna change liao. and marcus! got any waterproof tank bags can recommend or not? wanna be able to carry on shoulders when take off bike also

he's going to help me get the titanium colour racing boy levers when he goes in to jb wif flint too... hmm... titanium shld look much more nicer on mine....

hmm... if you're just looking for commuting, this bike more than delivers. it just sufficient pick up and speed for normal everyday commuting. as step kang says, the fc is also brilliant. and being a fuel injector bike, you don't have to worry too much about carb tuning and such since the bike basically takes care of itself.

of cos the looks are good too. but you'll wanna change the stock mirrors. the biggest problem i had with it was that i couldn't see my rear at all with it. now changed to koso mirror, much better and bonus also looks fiercer. and yea.... stock grips quite hard. that one would be good to be replaced unless your hands like the extra hard patches of skin you'll eventually develop from riding everyday with it.

lol! one minor problem might be bike a little high if the rider is short. wanna reverse gear gotta tip toe but a bit cannot move. lol! that's the only minus point i got. but otherwise, no regrets for me la

Pro : Likes abt this bike is the LOOKS and the Petrol tank storage. Can last longer than cubs.

Con : Bike is heavy. Cub is lighter. Height is High. Cub like Yamaha Spark135 is Lower. If i wan to pillion must grab the handle tight tight then say ok. Then pillion can climb behind else get ready to fall down on your left side. Hehe.

Last time i nearly fall down at traffic light. Lucky my gf stick out her leg and tahan. At first she kick the wind when finally the bike is 45 degree then her leg touches the ground. Wow lucky me. I just don't like the height of this bike.

Ya maybe u're right. Motorcycle is cheaper than cars. Well last time when i was in National Service, BICYCLE(mountain bike) was my main transport. That was even cheaper but slow and very tire. That bicycle have travel very far already though. Till East Coast and even till Johor. After that i slowly take license and upgrade to motorcycle. Well that was long long itme ago. How time flies...

Cheaper doesn not mean good. Got to be extra careful. Nowadays a lot of drivers change lane without signalling, sudden change lane and change lane without checking Blind spot. So dangerous.

No helmets? Wow that is dangerous. I think some time back i heard a singaporean fall down from his motorcycle at Johor ah gua lane there without his helmet when testing his motorcycle. His head hit the kerb and his brains fly out. I think he's dead. I heard abt it in this forum also. So the story line here is Safety First. Wear a helmet when u ride.

No choice. Singapore is this kind of weather one.

Well i never enjoy riding it but i enjoy the convenient to go anywhere and cost savings that i have with my bike.

many ppl (sporeans) say dat spore roads r 1 of d safest in d world...but d fact is NOT....msian roads actually much2 more safer thn spore's....i quoted dis fact frm automobile magz..

spore roads catagorised as a World Class road, but at d same time "d most dangerous World Class roads" .....d reason is = too much traffic lite,junctions,layby&ETC...thr's no other country dat is similar 2 spore roads...

1 more Q by a reader = y sporeans say dat msian roads r much dangerous 2 compare w spore's?

ans is = sporean drivers/riders r nt used w d roads ,as so thy tend 2 say dat it is dangerous....but d fact is...msian roads r 1 of d safest&most convenient fr long distance travellers...

US is a great name,bt their h'ways fr long distance r not as safe&convenient as m'sia's....no R&R, btwn 2 petrol stations&towns/car workshop r vry2 far away, alot of road pirates .....&etc....

1 fact most sporean doesnt realize is = only spore roads dun hv mountaineous&dangerous snake roads.....

datz y alot of us will say itz vry2 dangerous 2 drive/ride on dat kind of road...cz we'r nt used w it.... (but i'm used w it...i drive&ride in all kind of road terrain in msia oredy...only havent try it at other countries)
