Hey guys, just wondering, can the FZ150 install side panniers? Just wondering. Saw a CBF150 with side panniers(box), wonder if the FZ150 can do it anot. =)

aniway the trip to jb to strip marcus's bike was fun.

sad news guys....Ron 97 price had rose since 4th nov

previously rm2.10 , presently rm2.15 .... seems to b small fr all of u, but big fr me ....but,all d prob will b gone if i pumpet outside JB ...90% of petrol outside JB district dat i pumpet is ron 95 ....value fr money...

 

based on average 3500km a month, my expanditure fr petrol if 100% ron 95 will b RM176 ...if ron 97 will die lah...100% ron 97 will b RM200 ...rm24 difference....can spend dat rm24 on engine oil...

wah,finali aft run in,went for yamaha svc and today get a new feel top speed 140++,pump wif V power,reali get the feel for testing at such high speed wifout wobbling or shakey.Very stable when going at such high speed.and aso found out tat actuali meter dun drop in speed oni movement at RPM is moving at top speed.V nice bike indeed.

Like to share my experience.

 

My bike fish tailed suddenly while i was in camp yesterday and i almost lost control of my bike. Luckily i never fell down. I examined my bike and found that the rear tyre is flat. I pushed my bike all the way out of the camp and to the nearest petrol station. I pumped air to the rear tyre and I found that the tyre cannot be filled. I even felt that air is coming out of my tyre! OMG! I have no choice but to call the towing service.

u really hv 2 sacrifice 2 make ur bike more powerful+ more fuel efficient ....u cannot use big tyre..std sized tyre is d biggest factor to power increment+fuel efficient...no bigger thn 80/90 front,90/90 rear...

other things dat i'd done 2 my bike 2 make it more power&efficient =

-Hai-O JTX 1000 eo (selling in msia&i'm d stockist fr dat product) -Xado engine treatment -Iridium s.plug

-9power (search abt it in MBC )

-15/41 sprocket -Pump caltex at least once evry 5000km -lube chain often -clean d chain by turpentine evry 2000-3000km

-BMC a.filter -Power abuser -ALWAYS park d bike under shelter,even on early morning(b4 9am)...if itz hot,under big tree is d best as it will helps to cool d bike -do injector tuning every 30K km -warm up d engine evry morning at least 1 min b4 going off

 

&lastly to make d bike really faster,remove d box sure can reach 140kmh ez-ly at NSE

 

my prev full tank fc was 45.6km/ltr...97% spore riding..u see...i owez open throttle,but get good fc ...35% expresway(100-120kmh), 65% normal road(rev up to 10K rpm)

 

reasons y hv 2 park under shade = if d fuel tank is warm,the fuel will evaporate...as so,d fuel content in d tank will get reduced abit...if i got no choice 2 park under shade, i'll cover d tank w thick rag &put on it a chain lock 2 prevent d rag being flown away by wind...if nearby d bike parking got water tap or any water source,i'll wet d rag &thn leave d bike...as so,thr will b no fuel evaporation as long as d rag is wet...

If cut already bo pian la have to change tyre. Alamak u change to Pirelli tyres? Sorry la i don favour Pirelli tyres as i got bad experience with Pirelli tyres before. I still favour IRC GOLD WING Sports or Racing Series in Singapore or Maxxis tyres if i am in Johor.

Hi bro SKG, i think Yamaha R15 comes from India if i not mistaken. So funny la u "will think dat the bike is a 600cc bike but when engine starts sounds like 60cc is it? hehehehehe.

 

Bro SKG have u heard abt the malaysian bikers using Heavy Duty Diesel Engine oil(eg. Modil Delvac Mx 15W40, Shell Rimula, Caltex Delo400 15W40) for our bikes?
