hi guys, i just got my 636 2 weeks ago. got a serious problem with the fuel consumption cos i'm only getting about 10km per litre! 2 days ago i pumped about 5litres+ and today at 50km it went to reserve, even though i rode max 110km/hr on expressway. anyone encounter this problem before? any suggestions? fi light doesn't come on at all and its an 05 model.

Possible problem with the sidestand sensor?

cant be the side stand sensor..ever i put down the side stand when moving the engine also wont die..is happen when i clutch in and shift gear..only happen in the morn..

Do you have power comm in your machine? the sudden fuel cut maybe due to mapping. If no PC then gotta figure out again.

You mean your bike can move when you kick to first gear and move off with the side stand still down? Cant be right.. How old is your bike?

yes with pc..so i need to go jetting again?wanted to try other thing 1st..dano expensive!haha..just change plug nia still the same

Dude.. I hope i read you correctly, you are moving on 2nd gear, you clutch in and come to a stop, you still in 2nd gear, then you put down your side stand, you kick to first gear, right?? the engine sure will stop cause the side stand has a sensor, when ever you engaged to first gear the engine sure will come to a halt. Safety feature of the bike.

yup!but i nv put down the stand fully la..put down fully will die..

maybe i noe normally where ur kawa service ur bike ? cos vector one shop intro mi to go k&t shop for servicing. i wan to service my clutch plate and skin . and gasket.

guys i'm thinking of taking a 636 .. but quiet worried coz kawa has a slightly rougher engine comparing with other make ...

Whats the bike temp like? 1. Very fast hot 5. Temp rise slowly

What's the milage like for full tank?

Will it be suitable for constant long distance riding? e.g (2000 km)
