No documents needed for inspection.

Even if your road tax expiring soon and you want to extend it after inspection also no need.

Just need to do the inspection, get the results, together with your cert of insurance for another year, you can renew road tax.

When you are making the payment at the cashier booth of the inspection centre, the cashier would request for the renewal notice, no?

No need, cause their system will have your vehicle number and details registered.

Just need to show your inspection passed, with another valid year of insurance.

good to go.

just sharing my experience on a very recent inspection performed at Vicom Bukit Batok.

Please check their latest opening hours, Bukit Batok is one which opens till 8pm on a weekday. I guess not many are aware of this, because when i arrived, it's totally empty ! i went straight into the test area. No staffs were standing around, so i parked by bike at the test area's starting box (indoors), killed the engine and walked over to a room/counter which says "cashier", got asked for bike's registration plate number, made payment as the first step. The rest is just following instructions.

Things to note :

- If you have changed to rear view mirrors which has sharp edges, you're attracting problem from tester.

- If you have changed to side signal slights which has embedded LED which syncs with your red/brake lights, you're attracting problem from tester.

Apart from that, for the two issues above, it really depends on your luck if you eventually got passed or failed by Vicom.
