Wow Congratulation BinTeng. Really happy for you!:p:P:P

Hey guys just to update, my bike is literally making a "CLOnk'Clonk'clonk sound. As you pronounce the word Clonk, thats how it sounds.

I checked for loose external parts all ok so I suppose its from the inside.

Will update you guys when I visit CKA on Saturday.

Oh another thing, When is the right time to change your Rwr chain.o_O

Thanks man . =D . i still got many more to learn from you all . hahs .

I think you should ask when u go for checking . hahs .

Hope to see you all again .

Tighten your chain till you feel like its too much (sounds like a stupid advice to begin with but read more and you'll find out). From what I heard, o-ring chains will last quite well. If you know how to maintain the chain nicely, it can last around 1 year or slightly more.

1 good way of checking if you need to change your chain is by feeling the sprocket teeth. If its sharp, you've gotta get it changed soon. Sharper = sooner!

So usually, people will change chain and sprocket at the same time. That's when you can try changing the sizes. Smaller rear means you get slightly better top speed at the expense of a decent pickup. I somewhat regretted changing from my default 17(Front) & 40(Rear) to 17/39.

But it felt good going up to KL with that setup cos my bike opens valve at 8k RPM. Gear 6 8K RPM is usually around 118kmph but with 17/39, valve opens up when I get up to 125kmph. So long distance, its better to have your rear sprocket smaller then stock.

Total opposite for a bigger rear. Top speed suffer but the pickup is omgwtfbbq fast! :D

For Ninja, I would reccomend smaller rear, but for most of you who dont go travelling far, just stick to default OR upsize the rear by 1 or 2. You'll see improvements on the roads.

very simple... when ur chain getting looser n looser easily then its about time to change... and usually, change chain n sprocket together, cos chain is much more expensive than the sprocket... u dun wan a lousy sprocket to spoilt ur new chain...
