just go w ur preference.. but good brand r those w long history... like mobil, motul etc...

the diff in good or bad oil, ride it long distance (high heat long time), of the gear change stil very smooth then is good oil.. cos for bike, the clutch (gear) is immerce in eo... if u feel that the gear chaning is very stiff n hard then it is a bad oil.... a good example is when last time u in driving centre, got experienc those bike like u change gear liao but they stuck there? cos they using bad eo la...

u can experi ment w good or bad eo... but i can tell u my preference is motul 300v, can buy it from outside (eg. motorworld) for $30, then u can go to cka ask then change for u, but of cos pay some labour for them...

hello, from what i know(i asked before), the naked version is different from the fairing version.

because the chef mech tried out the FI version of the naked one and still have the heavy vibration; thats y they didn't bring in the F.I model.

They are still trying to find out what is causing the vibration.

better to ask cka mechs or the guys at roadwin thread.

the reason why our rwr dun vibrate much is because we have engine balancer...

for roadwin naked, the design is different from ours. As for if compared 2 different roadwin why ur one vibrate more, then have to check with the other roadwin thread le...

Things that I usually do for my trip, also serve as my routine/yearly maintenace... so my bike always brand new... in good condition...

For short trip (

Tool kit

Spare parts such as clutch cable, clutch lever, brake lever, spark plug

Tire repair kit

Chain lube

For long trip (> 2000 km)

On top the above, plus

EO, Oil filter

Change clutch plate

Change EO, oil filter, spark plug

Service brake

Change clutch, throttle cable

Valve clearance

Flush coolant

New tire

Check batt charging

It's not cheap, the basic preparation can cost more than $400. But it's worth it.

So for long trip, actually cheaper to bring a 2b bike to go... alot of people actualy using drz for long distance touring... imagine if go by big cow the maintenance cost will be x4 ...
