btw,i find it damn uncomfortable to pillion my gf.

she keeps sliding forward on the pillion seat and that puts her entire body weight on me. my arms can't take it anymore. how can i change the angle of my pillion seat?i think its inclined forward.

hey will like to check with yall, besides the common parts that all motorcycles use, are daelim parts hard to come by? Lets say you scratch your fairing or sthng would it take long to wait for the parts? Also what are the parts will a daelim commonly need but are not common on the market?

i dont think it makes a difference even though its a korean brand right, like i ve heard r125 dont really get ready parts too even though its like yamaha.

yes, you'd even be charged for careless riding. so next time, if you not in the wrong, just at least whack into some vehicle...haha

fleas: prob a box on both sides?basically, i wanna get more protection when riding so i need space to keep the protective gear. if it's possible,i wanna be able to keep my boots, jacket and pants which will take up a lot of space. i think still can squeeze la.

kelvin:take care man. try to claim insurance man.

bloodychamp: lol i think alot of ppl not free leh.

what a late reply... lols

eh dot, if u gonna do sideboxes, u might as well get factory made because d.i.y may not suit to the weight of box plus will definately be damm expensive and also d.i.y might scratch paintwork.

if u just want like steel bar rack then should be ok because mounting box on to d.i.y takes alot of calculations(weight + angle...wind....etc)

divine: look at my picture in the signature, is your pillion seat at the same angle as mine? i will definitely change my seat fabric soon. if u dont mind, follow me down? of course, at your convenience. after exams.

nikonll: haha.i rather not fall at all. if we hit someone from behind, its our fault right?

bloodychamp: sorry la. u also abit slow.haha.

fleas: i doubt we can get factory made racks for our bikes leh. i have no idea about this man. ahhh scrap the idea! haha.

btw, tkw has sold off his bike. good for him!

oh ya, our bike's dry weight is 162kg.

It's close to a 600cc bike's weight! r6,cbr600,gsxr600 etc.

hello, the naked(roadwin) and fairing(roadwin r125 or 125r) got differences.

-roadwin(naked)-

*weights ~135kg

*carburettor type combustion

*no fairings

*fully analog meter

*looks similar to super4 slightly smaller

*heard it has high vibration at high rpm/speed

*higher fuel consumption than faired version (edit:Theory wise)

*not sure about acceleration and top speed

-Roadwin r125 (125r)-

*weights ~168kg

*fuel injected type combustion

*fairing

*digital/analog meter(rpm analog/speed in digital...etc)

*pretty big

*does have very slight vibration at certain high rpm due to power band

*lower fuel consumption than naked due to fuel injection(~34km/l)(edit: theory wise)

*decent acceleration(able to beat cars away from traffic light from a stop)

*top speed of 135km/h(115km/h before redlining)

k there u go

i don't really know much about roadwin(naked) but if u want u go down cka(ubi) and enquire. don't worry they are really friendly. imho, 3k for a roadwin is at the higher range. seen quite afew at 2k to 2.5k

anyway i recommend if ur budget is tight and u just use for transport then the naked one will do fine :)
