hey guys, when do you all change your spark plug? Am going on a lil trip tmr and i'm sooo worried that my bike would break down... already serviced last week, but still worried...haha. what about clutch plate all that???

Wah Spark PLug you can use the NGK Iridium Spark PLug. I've changed mine only twice in the 1 and a half years of riding, my mileage is 22000m, anyways for spark plug some riders go by mileage some go by physically checking the plug condition.here's some help, bookmark this reference.http://www.dansmc.com/spark_plugs/spark_plugs_catalog.html

 

Clutch plate, i haven't changed before but you may want to consult others on this, depends on usage.

Haha vic sorry la was working on a case so not nice to disturb u too...

 

Nikon, for spark plug usualy it can last 5000km or more, for iridium one 10000km oso no issue... Last to worry...

 

For clutch plate u wil definitely now when to change when u feel tt no matter how u rev ur speed keep decrease... Slip clutch, again it wontt happen so soon... At leastt can last u 30000km above no problem...

 

For rwr n of ur mileage I dun c u need to worry anything... Perhaps ur rectifier ba... If u need more info sms me 96661021

Dotledd: hmmm my bike gsr has more peob than rwr la, prob it is an old bike la bobian... Hope to fix it up soon for my next trip... I do miss my rwr cos its really trouble free...

 

Nikon: haha I wil kepo here la cos I run my rwr a lot so share knowledge lo... Though I rode rwr for 1 year but my mileage is ur guys at least 2-3 yrs haha... Well rectifier is the electric charging stuff in ur bike, I noe super 4 n our rwr tend to hv prob w it - burnt... So best to carry a spare if go on trip... Other thing like clutch n throttle cable is good to hv too cos once they piak is piak...

Dot: ngk iridium can last damn long. Only if u mnore than 10k km n u feel ur spark plug misfire, tats is ur rpm no stable junping up n down then u need take it out to hv a check n replace it. Ask any mech to check for u at each servcng they can tel u if it is time for change, if they honest enuf.

thats when i slowly relesae clutch then your bike is jerky instate of moving off slowly and smoothing. and it isnt cheap. ard 100+ cause 4plates + coolent (=
