Bro when i park my bike just now i found out that coolant fluid come out from my bike. Check at the temperature indicator and it dosent't led up. Last few days have the same problem and sent to workshop to rectified it. Mech advise me to change the radiator cap which i did, and it stop for at least five days, but today the fluid come out again, any advise from you guys? Is it the hose or the themostat? if it is how much does it costs? Engine seem to be hot and fans is running fine.

My coolant also leak last weekend :weep:

Full set of hose should cost about $80 and for my case there is a spliter like device(dont know how to call it) there is broken. Damage of replace the item, installing and new coolant cost me $75 :sian:

maybe ur water pump leak.... if its leaking near ur footrest, 100% water pump leak... ive change mine for $95 new impeller and oil seal... including new water pump housing.

another possibility is ur hose not tighten properly. where is the dripping part of the coolant? like where do u see the coolant. front part left side right side? or which part of the floor?

Its not chiong..its made in Thailand Honda factory. Plenty at Phuket like masa_Malam like that.

If coolant leak at pump area..just get a set of gasket and DIY. Coolant of any brand can be used as long as its formulated for tropical use..Diaxs and Castrol is sufficient unless you go racing or ride like mad dog in ou hot city street every afternoon..then go for the more advertised one. No such think as rich coolant.. :)

Like Xiaowen said...you have to identify which area is it leaking from...otherwise, its a gasah_butak guess work rectification.

just trace the hose or coolant line see where it leaks. from there one should be able to know, is the hose, the pump set.

temp indicator will triggered only if no more coolant or coolant is drying up during riding. or temp sensor spoilt. parking of bikewill not cause temp indicator light up unless temp is faulty.

just my 2 cents :)

ok here it is

my coolant has been leaking at the gear lever side, i saw from manual at FJT that there is only 2 seals over there ryte, so if buy both seals and change the leaking should stop ryte?

its only leaking when it gets hot (engine long time running). also i notice this way bike temp indicator starts to lite up quite fast.

at the moment im just continuing to top up coolant from time to time. using maxima cool aide plus add a bit water.

also coolant is there such thing as being too rich? and can wear out the seals faster especially with older model bikes? that is why need to add water to the mixture?

thanks again.

anyone experienced this ? bike temp very hot.. temp light lights up.. and coolant leaks abit.. headache ! anyway.. i did coolant flush last month.. now i check my reservoir.. empty already !~? i only experience temp light lights up once after coolant flush.. usually no signs of coolant leaking.. what could cause my coolant to dry up easily ?? could it be the shop didn't do a proper flush ?

Holy crap!

How can so many ppl coolant leak at the same time?

Mine also leak since last week leh

Is it coz of the weather?

I sat down to drain out all my old coolant out then refilled again with fresh coolant. To my disappointment it leaked again this morning through the overflow pipes.

My radiator cap was changed only last year, dont think it may be the problem.

Strangely my temp light also nvr light up.

Happens to me after doing some hard riding or when i squeeze through jams and all... sigh

Dunt know whats the problem man.

If this is the case..you likely overfilled your reserve reservoir.
