In most case, it too rich. And if you install a full system without tunning, the bike performance will not be as good, and is a waste of $$$ ,cos you cant get the full power out of the system. But you definately can feel the different.

Under normal condition, your bike low end will suffer if you install a full system without tunning. but your mid and top end will be better than stock.

So it better to put on a PC if you are going to get a full system.

Thanks WW for the sound advise! Sounds logical. :thumb:

I presume you've fix exhaust/PC3 on your bike!

Any reccomendations where i should do the PC3 with tuning?

The one at Bukit Merah or Looi Motor? Any other place that you trust for tuning?

Thanks dude!:D

sry ar wad is a endcan and pc3?

endcan, is so call your exhaust muffler. PC3 is power commdaner 3. a device that can tune your air/fuel ration to make your bike run smooth and get the best of the bike out if you had install any aftermaket part to your bike.

means the endcan is the whole exhaust ting? the shiny aluminium part?

btw wad does it mean full exhaust system and how it works?

Wow, i think it better for you to read up some bike mag first.

Exhuast system , the whole system which include the header or so call collector and down with a mid pipe and than to a muffler or on bike we call a end can. Most exhuast is make up of stainless material. But some bike use titanium for that.

Anybike come with a full exhuast system. Just that we offer change it to a aftermarket exhaust. Some ppl just change the end can, but some change the whole system to a aftermarket one. That why you had see us talking a bout full system in short form.

Thanks ALL for the sound advise.

What about the mapping? How many mappings will there be?

Will it be like cars? Cos we have a few mappings with the aftermarket ECU.

And what's tekka mapping RETRO?

Any of you guys care to add on? WW/RETRO/PENSKE?

Appreciate your advise! :cheeky:

For PC3, only one map can be store. I do not understand about the stock one, cos for yamaha, i know you can adjust the CO setting.

For PC3, you can ask the mech to run a few map, but only one can be store inside the PC3. Like after you change your exhuast. you can tune with the baffler or without it. But normally it will be tune without it,cos we like loud noise, unless you are alway travlling around SG, and with a baffler i think power wise will be much less.

But if you got a laptop, you can actually change the map. . So you can have a few map store inside your laptop and change it as and when you like. But i think it very troublesome.

TEKA mapping is only ment for suzuki FI bike. It tune by adding the fuel at certain range, unlike PC3 , which is more precise.

changing maps using laptop not very troublesome. unless your PC3 hard to reach. if not jus bring laptop hook it up and start bike to power up the PC3.. replace the map using the program provided and you got another map in ya PC3!!! change everything on ya bike back to stock, jus need to remove ya PC3 and ECU takes over, back to Factory settings.

Very informative WW, thanks for taking time to answer! :thumb:

Very similiar to cars tuning, can store the mappings in the notebook for different occasions.

Think might as well put the BMG filters too.

I'll take your advise & go to Unity, since i'm getting the full system from next door.

Btw, estimate how much the whole thing will cost? (PC3/Tuning?)

Was told the cans are coming end of this month (can't wait to see them! heehee :cheeky: )

Thanks again dude! :p

For a PC3 with full tunning ,it should cost about $650. And getting a PC3 from a authoriesed dealer like unity, give you a one yr warrenty. They had been fake PC3 around. That look the same as a PC3 and it can also be tune, but it spoil easily. \

Can get more info from the dynojet website. That tell you about the fake PC3.
