I'm riding a spec3 and my bike can go at 200km/hr at 12krpm.. After tat power cut keeps coming in.. To me, I wouldn't wan to remove my powercut cos at 12krpm the engine very xiong liao.. In other words the powercut helps to protect my engine to a certain extent.. :shades:

with no redrev, i saw my meter at 190kph while doing slight upslope towards pagoh. then tried again on a "flat" road and downslope.. Same, 190kph.. Weird i guess..

at 190, my fren riding an r1 overtook me like "water"..

he said he was riding at 250kph and it looked so stable..

fed up only.. i felt like i was riding on a horse..

lagi fed up..

cannot imagine a s4 going faster than that.. sure very scary..

good luck to u bro.. remember, safety comes 1st!

Ride with me..

Mine was 200 on my own meter @ 12krpm.. I stared at the rpm meter and it never exceed 12krpm, kena powercut.. Urs can hit 12.5krpm?? dun tell me my powercut come earlier.. :bouncefire:

buy a second hand redrev try and sell ...you dun lose much anyway.. more red zone rev = more danger to your engine...

.. conclusion = not worth it ... Mights well do up your pick up and mid range speed better ... and also braking power

Acceleration power is not important than a good perfect braking system to prevent an accident.

Ouh sorry bro,i though your using red rev. I'm using redrev since i got my bike. Riding the bike at the red zone is definitely a no no...Your valve train components will take the hit most, especially when the valve spring starts to float.

casiolover: Redrev overides the speed limiter,it still does'nt allow the engine to rev all the way into the red zone(max is 13.5krpm).The rev limiter is still on and controlled by the cdi.
