I fix my monthly spending on my visa mini to $200..Other than that i use cash and debit most of the time..

Try getting one from citibank.... think their service better

There was one time that $90 was carried forward to my next Citibank bill cos I forgot to pay that due to misplacing that bill. I used my card to make purchases as usual and when the next bill arrived, the interest was $160. NBZ. You really have to keep track of your credit card bills cos if not, it accumulates interest charges... :sian:

And the next thing you realised... You're broke...

 

It also happened to me once... And since then, I keep track of the card bills more than any other....

 

Steps to do a proper KNNBCCB with middle finger.

 

1. Bow down slightly, looking intensely at objective

2. Like a raging bull, hop and jog slowly towards objective

3. Take your left palm and slap it hard on the right mid-arm with a SLAP!

4. With charisma, raise right arm, whilst showing middle finger (with left palm trapped in bend right arm)

5. Shout! KNNBCCB

Ya, true. Now I make it a point to immediately write out the cheque for the bill and immediately post it at my earliest inconvenience... :sian:

just remember not to withdraw money from ATM machine... the interest is just like loan sharks... 24%... lol...

 

i thot if draw fm ATM the interest is 5% mthly?? :confused:

there is no more keppel tatlee bank, if you pple havent yet realised. it has "merged" with OCBC in 2002.

 

panclanrider got 7/9 correct. the 9 banks offering credit cards are:

1. DBS (POSB has technically "merged" with DBS in 2001 but the household name of POSB retained)

2. UOB

3. OCBC

4. HSBC

5. SCB

6. Citibank

7. ABN AMRO

8. Bank of China

9. Bank of America (not AMEX, it's not the same)

 

VISA, AMEX, MasterCard, Diners, JCB, etc are not actually "banks". well, i can't reveal any more.... hehe

 

but you can wikipedia the above to get your answers!

Nope, there is a 5% processing fee and 2% monthly interest....

 

Plus once this happens, there is no more interest free on your card, every transaction will incur interest charge

they are foreign banks... that's y not so popular... there's law which says that they cannot exceed the number of atm in sg... so not many ppl wants to have a account with them because of lack of atm...

you can double up your cerdit card as atm card as well so that you don't need to carry so many cards in your wallet. :)
