other than students ... the Citibank card also gv those income tt couldnt mt the requirement 2 own a CC mah ... :smile:

Have any of you got credit cards in the mail that you have never signed up for? My mrs got one such credit card from DBS Takashimaya. She did not apply for it. The bank charged her for annual fee which she ignored and now they sent the bill for the annual fee plus the late payment fee. My mrs tried to call the bank to cancel the card but all she got was an automated machine that keeps telling her to press this and that number. In the end after 20 minutes of that, she got fed up and hung up... :angry:

Do you really need so many credit card?

Are you spending within your means?

If a card offers you 10% discount for shopping, do you really need the item or you simply wanna get the discount? If you dun buy, you will be saving a lot more without the hassle of having to worry about card paymnt at the end of the month.

Lady's card? the man dun get it? ya.. I agree... huge bills chalk up so as to enjoy the discounts offered by the card... Frankly, I dun want to...

Has your Mrs tried calling 1800 111 1111?

 

I just called them last night after receiving the bill for the annual fee to cancel my card and straight away they offered and waived it for the coming year all in less than 3 minutes of a phone call....

 

Steps to do a proper KNNBCCB with middle finger.

 

1. Bow down slightly, looking intensely at objective

2. Like a raging bull, hop and jog slowly towards objective

3. Take your left palm and slap it hard on the right mid-arm with a SLAP!

4. With charisma, raise right arm, whilst showing middle finger (with left palm trapped in bend right arm)

5. Shout! KNNBCCB

Try applying for all the credit cards. I mean, don't get the first try, try other banks. When you meet the minimum income, bound to get one eventually... :goodluck:

Thats good. Banks are getting rather aggresive nowadays. I've received 3 calls in 1 day asking me to sign up for those instant loans stuffs... :giddy:

the NTUC-OCBC card gives you 1 linkpoint for every $3 spent

you need to pay by visa in order to get the linkpoints

I've found out the website for the NTUC Fairprice credit card. Actually, you get 2 linkpoints for every $1 spent at Fairprice Plus stores (minimum expenditure of $20) and 1 linkpoint for every $2 spent at VISA merchant outlets via Visa transactions.
