bro.... the smoothness of the 250 and its comfortable seating posture plus its modding potential are part of what led me to YP250.....:angel:

 

but it will still take individual to really ride or sit on it before you can decid if it's worth it......

Anyway ..... ask yourself what you actually looking for...... a 250 or a 400?....

 

then you should be able to narrow your search......:p

 

not forgetting wat u using the bike for? if going for any touring, best is get a 400. only for local ride and once a while JB, then a 250 would be more than enough le... afterall the YP 250 got the best in terms of maintanience, spare parts, riding posture & a 60 liters underseat compartment.

big bore to 290kit..lol! for me y i choose majesty coz of its compartment space n low running cost..speed for me is not a thing anymore la..its comfy n can customise alot..very fun.. :cheeky:

Gues u r rite about hs sound system...... even some cars cant even play with him.... if he decided to get the speaker spoiler then lagi :giddy: liaoz the sound of the bike..... :giddy:

250 no problem. went up hatyai on my FQ 250. SO long never repair my bike the speaker spoil liao. Anyone know where can i get some major audio repair in JB?

 

i think my rear speakers spoil, my pre-amp spoil, the cap spoil, and i need some rewiring. anyone know how around how much?

you using MP3 player or head unit? Btw, the repair shop that u freq at macpherson told me that u looking for me is it/?

 

Anyway based on what you mentioned, if you going for budget type, think abt 2-3 hnd sing should be able to settle all depending type of speakers,pre-amp,cap you looking for.

 

had an X8 who did his basic sound sys consisting of 4 speakers and headunit plus wiring and detachable panel for headunit for within a budget of abt $500.

 

feel free to contact me at 92745438. we can arrange to meet up over a weekend to bring you to malaysia to do the repairs.....:)

mine is a head unit. was thinking of doing some mod to my batteries and redo my wiring. maybe wanna fix a sub on my box. was wondering if i get speakers, cap and preamp go there is better or buy in malaysia.

 

Anyway thanks for the help i think most likely i be doing the repairs next month.

hey no worries. when u are ready to do up ur audio system then give firestorm a call lah.... and can arrange for a time to go in together.

 

cap and pre-amp i think yoiu can get in singapore but speakers wise can go JB and get it.

Hi Guys

 

Ho say lah .....

 

Lastest update(engine coughing trouble). As i reduce the spark plug gap further, i knew something is wrong. The spark is getting weaker and weaker, week by week. So today i went spare part shopping again.

I bought a new ignition coil and new denso spark plug. Very easy to replace the coil. Just remove 2 screws and unplug the 2 connector.

After installing, i go for test ride. Ah?? no more problems. Idle speed also can adjust to really slow. From moving to braking to stop, i can hear the took-took-took tone just before stop.

 

Looking at the old coil, i think it may be having internal short circuit or the winding inside weaken leow....

anyone know how much the touring windshield will cost for my old majesty? how big is the fuel tank 7L or more?

 

abt $150 - $180. but dunno your bike have or not...

wat fuel tank 7L? dun understand wat u talking
