anyone fixed aftermarket horns on their fz1 ?

alamak i cant find space to squeeze the horns in >.

 

horns got to modify the original mounting so that it can fit in nicely. mine done at HKL. nice and good!

Hi guys.

 

In the long run, would you recommend Fazer 6 over super 4? In terms of maintenance, servicing and performance. If I plan to ride a bike for >10 years...

yes. they are quite close in cost of maintenance and servicing. but performance is another level for fazer600.:thumb:

Hi guys, I got 2 questions to ask.

Please kindly advise:

 

1) At speed of around 130km and above, the handle bar developed a buzzy vibration. At first ok, but after riding 30 mins of more, the throttle hand got the numb/pins and needles feeling. You guys got the same prob? Any ways around it? Heavier bar ends? I wonder is it normal, or is it becos I am more prone to it bcos of an old wrist injury.

 

2) There is a buzzing sound coming from the clocks. I suppose it is loose somewhat, cos the sounds goes after i held it down. But after a while, it comes back. How do I fix it? thanks.

1. get a bmw handgrip

2. put some rubber at the gaps of ur meter and its bracket.

Nice, so performance is an upz for Fazer 6. ((= Based on the link below, I saw a comparison with a Honda CBF 600... Any good reason to pick yamaha over Honda? (or maybe Fazer 6 over CBF 600) :angel::)

Bear in mine fazer 6 after this year no longer in production (i think). So not sure in future spare parts will be expensive or not.

 

On the bright side, fazer 6 will nort be as common as taxis..:cheeky:

Anyone knows how to remove the 2 plastics indicated with the red arrow ?

want to take it out to DIY some stuff, but i scared wait i snap the thing >.

reach sg on sunday morning leh, ..yesterday night went KBT had lks with james and the kbt brudders, then come home park my car and wtf.. drop my car key into the rain hole at my multi car park...nb, bangala wash never put back the strainer...end up got to use a hook to fish out my car key...o_O..by the time it was already almost 3am

 

washing bike today... me... :D

 

see what you just did to the weather..:D
