i think i also saw 1 at Asphoon... basically the price is higher than FZ6 by bout 2K quote from HL

not worthy of the extra 2k for a downgraded specs...

but a good side is that its torque comes in earlier than fz6....

bro, brand new bike right?

go install stebel nautilus compact horn... it's better than magnum and will cause more terror to the cars who will cut into ur lane... :D

if u install this, please retain your stock horn so that when your bike is 3 yrs old and going for inspection, all you need to do is to un-pluck the cable for your stebel horn... :)

you may chose to install this horn on your left side of your bike... it should fit there jus nicely like fz6... :D

Hi bro, thanks for your advice. Appreciate it. :)

I was thinking of either the Stebel Nautilus or the Magnum. Magnum cos I've been using it on my current bike, and quite happy with it, but still open to ideas. :)

Are you using any alarm system? I am considering the SPY 2-way alarm. Seems good enough, and cheaper than the other choice: Scorpio 2-way, whioch will set me back by $400++++. :(

Hardcore price. Softcore wallet. ;p

What??

Higher than an FZ6 S2?

But the FZ6R is basically just a cosmetically enhanced piece of sh1t.

160 rear tyres, steel overhead frame (like a Super 4), underpowered engine.

Pure sh1t.

no worries bro... such good stuffs r meant to be shared... :thumb:

ok... if u r considering nautilus or magnum, i strongly suggest u go for nautilus... :)

advantages:

- it takes lesser space.

- it sound more like a truck.

- it is easy to take it out to clean / maintain.

magnum disadvantages:

- it takes slightly more space.

- if one side "koyak", u will hear super duper boring one tone instead of two combined tones.

- u dun have a good place to install this. most ppl install this at the stock horn location. but i had tested and proven on my fz6 that it is not good there. when u do bigger humps run-overs or sudden brake, it will hit your front fender. some ppl used those red snail horns but they install it behind the radiator. these red snail horns is slightly lesser in width compared to magnum. if u wan snail and approved horn, then go for these.

nautilus only disadvantage:

- it's not approved! so if u wan to install, i would strongly suggest u keep your stock horn there. u may chose to keep it disconnected or keep it away. use it only when u go for inspection. pls do no blast you horn at your beloved TP else u will be asking for trouble. hahahaha! :D

alarm system... spy 2 way alarm system with perimeter sensor is good enough... it's cheap and good! :thumb:

For info .. the one in Hong Leong showroom is not FZ6R but its a XJ6s Diversion .

They look similar except for the upper head cowling . Basically the rest is the same . Not sure abt the engine . XJ6S selling @ $17350 w/o insurance .

Hi bro, speaking of the SPY 2 way alarm, is the auto-arm function very troublesome?

Cos if I park the bike and open the box, tie helmet...etc, and the bike re-arm itself in the meantime.

Quite silly right?

Please advise. :)

Thanks!

Think the motovation handle bar with sliders for fazer is also $75

to me its quite reasonable.

I am not sure if fix alarm during the warrenty period of the bike, would it void the warrenty a not cos its direct related to electric circuit stuff

can anyone enlighten on it ?

scorpion alarm too exp liao... spy is good and have better function and cheaper... :)

my spy alarm every helped me to saved a summon ticket on a double yellow line... hehehe... imagine the auntie come to your bike and go near ur bike or even touch ur bike, he/she will activate the alarm and sound off... the signal is being transmit to your console... if you're nearby, u can quickly react and run back to your bike and stop the summon... right? :D

sliders... for me, all these sliders will not be doing their job if you have side panniers like me... if this is so, go for the bar end slider will do... :)

personally think that 2way better.

agree! :D

yes i think yo will void the warranty... but u wan to void ur warranty or to loss your bike? :D for me, i prefer the latter... safety is more than everything else... :)
