ya drum brakes are better.. when raining the rear disc brake feels weird. and also might prone to disc wrap. then when u brake or push your bike, sounds like bus braking... and i dun trust aftermarket disc brakes. IMO.

hmm.. so just change to oversize disc brake, caliper for the front will do? so the rear is kinda no point? stick to stock?

stock rear disc brake more braking power... till wheel lock easily... especially with stock footrest... i dunno about aftermarket ones... don't really have confidence in them. and given our rainy weather... drum brake perform better. thats my opinion after riding cub kia with drum and disc brakes..

if using drum brakes and racing footrest, the drum brakes will not be as effective as of using stock footrest right?

using racing footrest will affect the braking power, no matter disc or drum. maybe it affect the drum brakes more.

i can say it applies for rear disc brake too. i have to step on the pedal quite hard to achieve the braking power which is only slight tapping when using stock footrest.

thats why i change back to stock footrest.

cos spark using stock footrest v.easy to kenna bua on the ground.. so i suppose racing footrest will be harder to kenna the footrest on the ground?
