i think we can use this chapter to rally all GSr-ians and all other riders alike...

to meet for a mega photo-shoot session and makan damai ( peace dinner ) to break fast...

pretty sure the turn out will be awesome...in-line with your Iftar idea la wildcard...just nice...how?

Re-open the thread please. Although we have been promoting REVO and changing bike, it all for good pure innocent fun. It may seems to be selfish on our part but most of us here are riding a 400cc with potential to change to a CL2 bike in the future. As most of us who chose the GSR over the Honda will agree on one thing and that it looks nice and stylish and not like the well-known "Taxi" on the road. It stands out and we, i believe most of us, enjoy a sense of being unique as the GSR is not a common bike.

 

The thread is there to guide newbie but have anyone thought of this. They usually come in here to ask common qns like FC or performance related stuffs. One time, we ans, two times, we ans, if more and more times, ppl will slowly get fed up. Than it comes to a stage that all the info has been painfully consolidated into page one by the members with updates as and when. Than they come in and still ask things that is already stated. SO end of the story is there is limit to patience. Thank you for reading.

Ok,

After seeing all the response, I guess the need for the thread is more apparent, especially for those who genuinely seek info.

Fortunately, the majority do not wish to take part in putting down newcomers and newbies. I guess I'm wrong in that and, boy, am I glad.

 

Just that, I find a bit sad at some PMs I received justifying why the need to 'initiate' and so-called 'test' newcomers and those interested in the GSR.

 

I jsut hope this is only the minority and hope the rest will keep the thread going with the original ideals as it was intended when it was started by a small group, but yet only one of that group is left trying his best to uphold those ideals.
