i suing cheetah alarm....bought it at $50 own DIY ....cheetah is manufactured locally....

reason why i bought it is because if anythign happen...there is the dealer who will repair for u...and its free....cos so far there is only one authorised distributor ....located at sim lim tower.....

regardless of how long u use the alarm....repair will always be free de.....

i used to use overseas imported alarm...but when its spoilt...getting a replacemet is a hazard as dealer or importer will have to liase with overseas distributor...takes a very very very long time...thus i got the cheetah....been using it for 2 years liao.....and its still good. heee :thumb:

if u wan a normal kind of alarm i recommend cheetah...but if u want those hi tech one...can consider remote alarm.....

for me i feel that if lets say i have a remote alarm...and i happen to be some distance from my bike....my remote beepp..someone touching my bike...i don think i have enough time to run back to my bike and catch the fellow......and if i watching movie....my remote beep...oh shucks...run out of cinema to catch the fellow.....by then that fellow already gone haha

its just my personal point of view......its up to individual cos everyone pt of view is diffferent mah :cheeky:

Hmm.. i knw HKL got sell.. but wonder how their workmanship? Yours is 'pager' type? Just wonder wht is 1 or 2 way type alarm ?

no. mine is no pager but with remote start...

from what i know, only earlier models of Hyper VTEC can install remote start...

Spec 2 and Spec 3 cannot install due to the Honda Ignition Security System (H.I.S.S.). unless u disable the HISS...

those who use before "Frontier Alarm System" will know what i mean... :cheer:
