you gotta have seriously alot of time to spend man.. the blooming process took me a good 6-7 hours.

cost me Ard 100 bucks, but its bloody worth it man.. depends on riding style as well, i change up gears quickly, so i get to top gear asap. by doing that i can get even better mileage.

330 is with a bit more agressive riding + occational Vtec..

How often do we need to do carb tuning? Based on mileage or time?

hi

where did you tune your bike?

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

just did my washing and tuning at bikeworks 2 weeks ago. now still monitoring my FC. but the money was well spent. my baby now feels more reactive and smoother.

much more reactive, smoothness is baby soft man.. hahaa.. btw.. did you clear ur carbon before going for tuning?

if you really want performance, by right you have to tune every time you change spark plugs. but then if lazy, then change back same brand lah. but there might be a noticable difference.

Sorry to ask what mileage are you guys getting for spec 1? I pumped full tank and only achieve 160 with 3 out of 6 fuel bars gone. Anyway, what is the size of spec 1 fuel tank? Thanks.

CB 400 Spec 1= 18L with 4L reserve included

total 18L

160 not bad liaoz.. depending on whether you've tuned ur carb liaoz not..

i get ard 340 without vtec, 330 with a bit of vtec.

try to aim to get ard a minimum of 125km before you drop the first bar completely.

4L reserve? i tot its 3L reserve nia.

anyway 160km clear 3 bar is good. to me, as long as above 300km for full tank b4 reserve is good mileage liao.
