See heng sway, I bought quite a few Aspire one for my department, on avg, 15 - 20% of the units will be problematic. Send for repairs dunno how many times. The other 80-85% units are working great! But with extended warranty, is local or intenational? Does it include parts replacement. Have a look at the fine print.

it will depend who and what the extended warranty is. Feedback from my customers tells me that major shops like Courts and Harvey Norman outsource their extended warranty to Sim Lim Sq shops and that the customers have had bad experiences with them.

Tot of connecting my aspire one to my LCD tv to watch movies. Anyone knows how to do this? My tv does not have a vga(pc input)- only have HDMI , composite, RGB and S video. anyone have experience in this? I just need the video signal. Audio i can use other source.
