last night tested a kr bike with a racing footrest. Its damn nice :cheeky:

riding position is good :cheeky: but yea smell of 2t like what xeno said.

but the bike has so much more power than a ybr(used in cdc) the reving sound is beautiful and cornering is nice.pick up wise pawns the ybr also.

i think the racing footrest makes a lot of difference, and a fast throttle is so nice changing gears is easier... just let go throttle(it snaps back fast) and clutch in to change gears.. so much smoother than the ybr.

y compare a sportsbike and e road bike? :sian:

:giddy:

uhm i just passed liao tp... so prior to viewing only bike i rode was a ybr

First time now trying out different bikes cause now looking 4 a bike to buy mah. So went viewing for some 2b sportsbikes from ppl selling in this forums:cheeky:

just the feeling/power/control of the 2b sportsbikes is much more fun than the ybr lah :)

and yea the 2b sportsbikes which uses a racing footrest is more comfy to tall riders... the posts above was pertaining to bikes and height :p

just couldnt resist saying the difference between the ybr and the first sportsbike i tried :giddy:

sob .. but they nv drop le .. i is keep droping le .. mine 1st lesson push off main stand nt much prob but 2nd lesson dunno y keep dropping wor .. arghhh~ ..

after off the main stand let the bike move forward a little bit. do not immediately pull the front brake all the way, cos in this way... the bike will do a sudden jerk and it might cause u to loose balance..

slowly apply the front brakes :)

hope it helps..

Wanna ask another question.

For bikes, removing the muffler will make it more noisy? or adding a muffler make it less noisy?

Erm... The Muffler is to make the bike more silent.

yes removing the muffler makes it more noisy. ermm.. i am not sure how u add a muffler.. but depends on wat u want actually.

noisy doesnt mean the bike is more powerful, it sounds and seems more powerful.. haha.. so psycologically speaking the rider THINKS the bike performs alot better.. but it might not be true all the case.. dyno is need to really know if there is a gain in hp.. tuning need to be done as well..

wat bike ur riding?

if budget is a main concern.. do advise u to get an insurance quotation first.. and work your sums..

1) cost of bike

2) cost of insurance

3) cost of road tax

4) cost of car park

5) cost of petrol

6) cost of summons ( nobody likes it, but u still get it ! haha )

7) cost of repairs and servicing

just to prepare u fianancially and mentally ;)

cheers

I'm just asking. HAven bought a bike yet, still scouting around. Cause I don't want a very nosiy bike, don't wanna be the noise pollutant for the surrounding people.

the muffler is to make the bike more silent

but i believe pipes lik yoshi dun come with the ,muffler ,

some believe that in the long run , removing the muffler will have better flow for the bikes thus making it more smoother

if u wan silent bikes , maybe u look for shaft driven kind of bikes
