Hi, Not here to sell anything. I'm just here to conduct a study for my workplace Bosch.

Bosch is a German multinational engineering and electronics company headquartered in Gerlingen, near Stuttgart, Germany. Already established with it's car aftermarket parts in Singapore, we are considering our next move to bring in our motorcycle parts as the population of premium motorbike in Singapore rises

Few question to ask of you guys, and I would appreciate your help just by sharing your thoughts

1. Do you know how to DIY, self-install your batteries or spark plug? (Without the help of a trained mechanic)

2. Would you consider the usage of an online shop platform to buy automotive spare parts for your bike like batteries, spark plugs or other parts?

3. Do you buy parts directly from distributors/retailer? or directly from workshop plus installation tgt?

In additions feel free to post anything you feel about Bosch or anything you want me to note, when our products are here.

:)

Can pm me if you are looking for any horn replacement or upgrade.

Most car horns are applicable for motorcycles as well especially the larger bikes. The EC6 Fanfare Compact has extra weather resistance, is louder than the normal motorcycle horns and it also sounds nicer.

Well alot of our products might be made in China, but I can tell you Bosch still ends up spending alot on qualities assurance. Haha

Edit: just uploaded a bunch of information on our 2 wheeler parts.

from ur diagrams.....im not too sure if you are sharing anything with us on any benefits or strengths or product knowledge or look of each of your products.....its like a mess which nobody would bother to see...

On the other hand...u shld at least have a pic of each bosch horn u have and approximate size n decibels made perhaps?..as some of us have limited space to put a snail or big round horn.....

and if its electric horn or a trumpet horn.....so as to make inspection easier to know if will clear or not...

also I like your bosch lithium batteries which comes with a charge status display so u can get a balancer or battery charger to fully charged it...

only one other manufacturer wic sells gel batteries in msia comes with such a charge status display but i shall not mention the name....cheers..

I ride at 70km/hr only...please please dont blow2 at me or overtake me dangerously....wait i change into Incredible Hulk n dont know why my little baby bike will always be ahead of u if u do that

1. Yes

2. Yes, only if it's cheaper than retail

3. Mostly, if the task is simple enough, eg. changing bulb

Price and quality is my main consideration.

Thanks for the feedback,

Heres a link to the full horn catalogue that we have

The dimension are included in cad drawing are presented along.

Sorry for the confusion :)

The EC6 car horn is quite popular even among motorcyclist.

Also take note that our Lithium Battery comes with a german standard BMS (Battery management system)

Read here for reviews what happen if you run a lithium battery without a high quality tested BMS

http://gas2.org/2013/02/05/long-term-test-lithium-ion-motorcycle-batteries/

Also we can provide limited warranty for all our batteries directly from our ASEAN Regional HQ, based in Singapore. Something competitors cannot do like us :)

Li-ion batteries?

How much cranking amps does this Li-ion battery produce. Does it get killed if it goes below 11v? Is there only a specifically designed charger to be used for charging or is it compatible with other generic chargers? Life span of the battery?

1. At low temperrature the cranking pwr is about the same. But at moderate room temperature/warmer temperature, the cranking power is significant higher.

Does it get killed if it goes below 11v?

2. Unlikely your bike will get kill below 11v, 11v is still enough to crank the bike same goes to any other bateries with any decent cranking amp :) For lithium ion u can even crank at 9v.

Is there only a specifically designed charger to be used for charging or is it compatible with other generic chargers?

3. It is recommended that you use our C3 model baattery charger or better. But any 12v motorcycle charger are properly compatible as well.

Life span of the battery?

4. Up to 8 years and at least 2x longer than an AGM, according to our engineers in germany. (So if you do the math, you properly end up saving money as less replacement are needed), but it depends on how you use.

In addition, a common lithium ion battery of any brand has lower weight. No explosion caused in a vehicle accident. And allow you to store for long period of time due to low discharge. (This is important if you rarely rides your bike and you are just a keeper)
