How I wish I can get it immediately but i have to sell off my van before I can commit. Have another car and my son to worry about. Furthermore times are bad.

i intend to let go my wee after my cambodia trip in june. it will be 5 yrs old by july 2009. it's still sound new with a tough look of ruggedness and plenty of scratches. by june, it will roar in a land where bikers dream but few will dare to explore. it will be a different wee by then.

 

but at this point of time cant decide what will be the next best bike to own.

 

you are looking at a wee that is hard to replace. :)

the left is the 1000...the right is the 650

 

Seriously from the Front cannot really tell the diff right? hahaha

I think 80% above of accessories can share ......

Btw ANyone of u peepz using street tires here?

rather wat tires u using? Gimme some model numbers.. Mine is due for change. Feel too much vibration (pillion complain). Semi off road tires might need to put off.. hahaha To street tires.. muhahaha

no offence to the Vee riders here...i went down to Looi's for viewing and saw the Kawa Versys...saliva dripped immediately.Comparing both,i noticed the DL650 had inferior quality compared the the Versys.Versys have inverted forks and frame and components that look expensive and tough whereas the Wee looked relatively cheap and "plastic". I couldn't get an exact price of both as the boss isn't around.But from what I see from the Net,the Versys should be cheaper...

Jus tat if u don mind the support of spare parts..locally. The alternative .. is shoot up to KL and get it.

The versys looks more street dual then adventure dual... personally i think it looks muscular..

no worries...

 

versys is indeed newer, more compact, greater styling, and lighter than the vstrom. trust that it is more agile, versatile and easy to handle as well.

 

it is a great contender to suzuki in term of look.

 

vstrom's look is getting old indeed.

 

would love to see more of such bikes on singapore roads.

For me,travelling up to KL isn't a problem.My wife is a Msian n we always travel up to her parent's place at Sitiawan.KL is only 1/2 the journey... :dozed:

Actually I only went to motoV meet once so maybe that's why you have no idea of me.

I think there's only a handful of versys riders here.It not only look nice,it look well worth the $.Whatever the bike is,we have the same interest....bikes :cheers:

Anyway.. i saw the construction of the bike. .and the only thing that puts me off .. .which i find similar to ST11..

Suspension @ the side....

Other than that... it looks fine...

oh.. also smaller tank.. hehe
