Bros,

 

Just witness a cyclist hit by a car at sungei kadut avenue just outside my company (abt to ride in). Loud bang and cyclist slight blood on the head and lying down. Motioning a little to cover his forehead - hope he is alright. Guys be careful out there. Bikers have no protection - right slow, safe and dont take risk. If you have to waste some time along to way in the name of safety - do so. Have a safe ride!

Hi...Im actually open to any adventure bike esp twin vara and vee!...thats the genre of bike im looking foward too for class 2...Now my aim is to pass class 2 1st actually...but upon paying my installment at southern (yeah my current bike is still on installment at southern) i saw this vee... I was like WAH! This is rare...thats y im thinking of booking it on the first view...if not for my gf...i think that bike i book already haha...she told me not to rush things...

 

I guess im only limited to choose what Southern have to offer, and that is sucks...

 

waHaha bro i guess both of us are eyeing d same thing.. was juz about to ask if d previous owner is here then u ask already.. haha.. me too yet to pass my class 2.. i started d bike juz now d sound so garang engine sound very rough.. does a twin engine suppose to sound lyk tat.. i tink normal la d sound eh for twin engine.. then beside it got 1 more he say is CBF1000 never really heard of tat bike.. how much he quote u bro..? he quote me 13800 on d road without insurance..

Bro he was quoted his words "machine price is 14.5k...plus this and tat is 17k...."

 

 

Sorry if kay poh but dats why i advise him to sell his bike first.

Big shout out to all Strom riders......great to see some fresh faces on the forum. Have actually let go of my dear Strom after nearly 2+ years but will definately look for another touring bike when I get home. :)

I need to check certain things with you guys.

 

1. After riding my Wee for quite sometime, I realised that the handling is quite light in front and when squeezing through traffic on slow speed, I find the bike quite wobbly. Is there something wrong with the steering cone, suspension or tyre bearings?

 

2. I recently changed my stock spark plug to Denso Iridium. So after about 1000km riding, I find that my bike like choking and heavy when opening up the throttle more, and it wasnt very smooth compared to the first time I changed the spark plugs. So should just stick to stock spark plug?

 

3. Where can I get the deals for tyres? I was quoted $440 for Tourance and $390 for Trailwing. Prices inclusive of balancing.

Speed : Its difficult to discuss via text to you how to check for problems affecting yr handling. Best bring down to mech for visual check. Rule of thumb will be that there should be NO 'freeplay' of the handle bar while u are turning left or right while on main-stand. Same for the tyres too.

Speed : U got the specs/model for the spark plug u used? Might be the wrong one. Or it cld be the tiny drain hole on the right side of the engine case is stuck with obstruction (IE Soil / Sand / Dirt) which prevented the water from draining out from the spark plug chamber. Try to suck it out if any. My mech will usually use the air-gun to blow clean the tiny hole when servicing my bike.

How come no want wanna try Tourace EXP ... Its newer thread design that is more for road and less of Off-road which i think i many pp's case is more applicable...

not for the next 1 or 2 years ....the new version seem to come with touring accesories

 

 

but if you r interested u can check out looi motor he has i tink still 1 or 2 sets of k8 model i got mine at abt 27k -28k otr a year ago with 5 years loan

If I had to guess, it will be the front suspension. And the back suspension will contribute to it.

Mine also more or less abit..

Even after changing neccessary stuff.. sometimes its ur tire pressure, pillion weight against urs, rear gantong too soft.

 

its ok one...... cos its slow speed..... High speed u should worry ...

i m 1.7m .. at first found it too tall but after sometimes, got used to it. be extra careful during ebrake
