year 2005. Just replace steering cone bearings and service of rear brake pistons. Cost $250. Is that too much to pay? Any good shops that service vstrom. The mech at Kim Keat Motor who did the job, warned me that parts for this bike is expensive and hard to find? TRue? I bought the bike with confidence as to my knowledge most wear and tear suzuki's are interchangeable.

 

Next item are the shock and springs which feel too soft. What replacement will serve its purpose without too much extravagance?

Suzuki have common parts used across other models. Old birds in the business will know which can which cannot. Where got expensive? Cosmetic stuff share a lot same stuff with DL1000.. which eversuccess keeps stock.

Engine wise share same spares as SV650 etc...

I just manage to change original front spocket 15 and rear 45 teeth instead of 47 for better milege. ALL OE suzuki parts...!!! wohooo

Bought my tank bra at Loois... Brand is B&B (Breast and Bra)... Just go to 5th floor and ask 1 of the ladies there u looking for one.....

Remus revolution for DL650 is the only street legal offered by Motoworld for $950 (just called them) and waiting is 3 months. Selling a new looking exhaust for $650. There is $300 discount right there with no waiting. Comes with LTA cert. The exhaust is mounted on the bike, so you can hear it out before agreeing. SMS 8119 7804 if keen.

I've trade in a DRZ/SM for a Wee about 3 mths back... Was influence by frenz who rode V-Stroms and heard gd reviews bout Stroms too...

Been loving the riding experience from day 1... truly a SUV on two wheels...

By the way, the 650 does looks weird wo the skid plate/oil radiator guards... What do you guys tink?
