Wildcard. Serious buying decisions going on... I strongly suggest you try out both bikes if you have not done so. I come from a history of riding and owning displacements from 125cc to 1400cc. I ended up with the wee, more fun for SG road and still can solo tour occasionally. I will sell the wee some day because thats my nature. However, the V will never enter my conscience with my current ride. :cheeky:

 

talking about touring on the wee solo. it's never occassionally, it's anytime. :angel:

recently i was traveling at 80km/h to betong

 

the FC is- 25-27km/h

 

city trvel is reduce to 19km/l at 60km/h 5th gear

 

traveling to hatyai at 180-200km/h fc is further reduce to 16km/l

 

traveling back at 130-140 fcis at 23/22 km/l

 

normal travel load including pillion and lugage is at 270 kg

 

 

Eh boss, really so good ah...

How come my 2 other Vee frens tell me avg 19km/l avg only for local riding... both newer then u leh...

130/140 can hit 22/23 ah.. tats uber good leh

and i use the knn air firlter :angel:

so ur full tank how many km then hit reserve?

 

360km, i think i top up at GP esso, rawang , then top up at gerik then that's it:angel:

 

then return trip was top up at gerik .....seremban then gp esso

 

my front tire is anakee 38 psi rear is tourance exp 48 psi (over pressure)

I have to agree with anodise, I was pretty surprise at the best figure of 27km/l (80-100km/h, 25-27km/l). That is a 250cc consumption. Sure, you got the intel correct, bro :-)

I agree , u are not the onli one who is VERY suprise I got a dr 200 cc too !

 

I got this from my recent trip to betong bring a ksr 110 and TA 200 ...that's why i had to go at 70-80km/h :faint: my RPM was never above 2500 rpm but i was smiling when i pump the petrol :angel:

 

and at every mid point my top up was at 14 litre

Juz to add on to the topic of fuel consumption...Mine will be 25km/l or 500km for 20-21liters...but that will be on SG road...if I go NSH...lagi best...20km/l...but overall....I am pretty happy with fuel consumption...makes me pump petrol once a week only...:angel:
