Hi,

 

Haven experience eletrical issues with my wee and certainly hope not. But i do experience the FI indicator coming on while i was riding couple of times and it juz goes off after restarting...hope its common among the wee riders here.

 

I have been through too.... its nothing wrong. but according to clifford(KNT) he told me cause of our engine oil not enough. But if the light keep on coming, then better to top up engine oil.

FI = Fuel Injection. Get your mechanic to check the fuel transmission.

Ok So there's 3 ABS Riders so far....... out of 5 million ppl in Singapore...

I used to have this "problem" too but it was fixed after I figure out that u need to let the bike idle for a few seconds before cranking up the engine. Swtich on, wait for a few secs, then crank. The ecu is reseting during this idling time.

The manual advises to bring it to a mechanic.

Yancurly (Vara Rider) msg me few days ago and he would like to extend his invitation to the V Strom Riders and Request Riding Escort to celebrate his BIG Day (Wedding Day).

 

I know most of V Stroms Riders(unlike other bikes) are busy riders, including me, who will be working morning shift on that day.

 

Neverthanless, Yan wishes for V Strom Riders to turned up for wedding escort.

 

Details are as follows:

 

Its on the 25th Dec 2010..

 

Convoy will start from Toa Payoh(Wifey plc) to Bkt Batok(Banquet plc).

 

Assemble at Blk 154 Toa payoh Lor 2 voif deck . Move-off: 2.00pm sharp. Destination ETA approximately: 2.30pm. Only one way. Feast held at end of convoy destination.

 

Route:

>Toa Payoh *START*

> PIE(Jurong) (Caution for SPEED TRAP)

> exit Jurong Town Hall

> Bukit Batok Road (Caution SPEED TRAP)

> Right Turn to Bukit Batok West Ave 5

> Reach Blk 391A Multi- purpose hall..*END*

 

Pls liase with Fuji(Vara) @ 96960344 or Yancurly(GROOM) @ 9022 5606/ 9367 8179 of visit the Varadero Thread if there's any queries...

 

As for me, I will try and see if I can take time off from work to attend his wedding convoys. Cheers!

oh the ending point is at my place...... definitely gonna be noisy with bikes. maybe will pop down to view bikes....

I'm riding an 07 ABS Wee as well. No known electrical or mechanical problems on my wee. So far it has been very reliable. Just the routine preventive maintenance and replacement of wear & tear parts like tyres etc.
