If it did not do it before, but now does it, then it could be there is something wrong. E.g. Throttle position sensor or throttle body sensor need adjustment, throttle bodies off. Depending when it was the last time done, it could also be caused by too tight engine valves.

 

I always believe it is better getting a bike properly serviced before doing any tuning.

 

But of course feel free to try. The Teka adjustments can easily be reverted.

The Teka adjuster has arrived. For those of you who want to give it a try, you may organize a meeting at my place.

 

Or I can demo to one of you what needs to be done, and than the guy will be the programming tutor for the others.

 

Actually the second option may be better, instead of annoying my neighbours too much.

i suggest you get the topbox first..the hepco alu/gobi looks great,with universal toprack available at MTechnik.

but if u dowan to burn so much,grab the givi ones.does the job well enough.

the panniers are a tricky thingy,decide which 'system' u want first..

my suggestion to you is to get the SW motech siderack.

abit more expensive,but it can accept both GiVi or Hepco panniers,with the appropriate adapter,of course..

 

u should goto adventure on wheels since u stay at jurong.

ask choy(tel:68990148) to help you out

 

New - looking to install panniers and box - any recommendations - thanks

 

 

xanc-bro we should gather with our 1K brudders also...we havent had a proper vstrom gathering yet man... :faint:

So has anyone collected the TEKA?

i don't see a need for my bike to do TEKA adjustment...but if there's a demonstration i will love to take a look at it...

 

Anyway thinking of doing some DIY session on one of the weekends...

 

Change engine oil, oil filter, bleed brake, change brake pads, TBS...

can show the rest or we do together...Will need and extra empty bottle to transport engine oil to bike shop to legally dispose off...

i'll be riding up to Perak 20th - 22th July. Slow ride up in search for waterfall n hot springs. Moving off on Friday nite and back Sunday nite.

 

Anyone want to join let me know.
