You could try Guan Hoe (agent). They are not very cheap, hence the ebay referral. You might want to get the DRZ400 type since many of the them like to change them to other types. They appear sometimes on garage sales. They are square though and not the curved type like the Vstrom.

 

Any one could advise where to get mirrors for 2002 DL1000 mirrors???

Mtechnik or Biketech21 are places you might want to drop to buy accessories for your DL650. Prices we know may vary and not valid since many of us would have bought them a few years ago.

Anyone using aftermarket brake pads like EBC or Braking etc? I installed mine last year and was quite surprised that the front pads wore out pretty quickly. Faster than I expected coz my mileage for 1 year is around 6000km at most. Looks like I'll go back to my stock brake pads. There are improvements to braking for the aftermarket pads but not phenonmenal advantages over stock. Anyone like to share your experiences?

I've always been using EBC HH. To me it stills have the best braking force. Even after changing to 4 piston (GSR calipers and SV adaptor bolts). The pads can last me 20,000km. Usually will change together with the tyres or sometimes last even more. Perhaps it's my riding style.

 

Have you check your alignment of the brake pads whether they are grazing on your disc?

Just called up Looi's Moto yesterday the latest DL650 2012 model will launch by year end OTR price estimate $22K ++.

As long as u dont intend to put a super 4 handlebar on an adventure tourer.

 

The fuel consumption is one of the best if not the best for any touring bike.
