Guys, I know that prob this has been discuss but how do you identify that your Vee has a clutch chudder problem? What is the sign n symptom of it? Heard that it is famous for the earlier model of Vees mostly on those euro riders bike but not sure if it is on a later one. If it happens, is there anything that I need to be aware of? Thanks.

you have to aware how much money you have in order to tow back n replace the cluth basket$350 for cluth

 

and mine shudder after 65k while half cluth control at 1st gear during moving off

first let me assure you when the chuddering happen, the b1tch is a very forgiving bike,don't panic you still go a safe 5-10k more to go untill the bike cannot move but pls don't be stingy and estimate until the last 100km you be asking for trouble.

 

it happen for fair wear and tear especially in a v engine....we got two big 500cc powerful thumper so the shuddering is really felt when the cluth is worn out and slippage occur during the first gear while moving off and when you wack the throttle for the sudden surge of power.

 

the older model 02-04 is more pronounce than the later model 06 onwards they have modified the design to reduce the effect but it's still there but manageable

 

start looking out when your odumeter show 65k you can change the when the slippage occur or you can wait 5k later.

 

it also depend your riding style.

 

some latin strommer also have claim to ignore and just ride and it still goes ......

i personally prefer Ricks fork brace, there is too many piece in the above mention brand. Too many piece weakens the overall strenght of the brace.

according to rick's instruction, you are only suppose to tighten and torque load the brace to 10 in LBS.

PIE a bit harder to squeeze in slow bumper to bumper traffic, KJE i easily make it 70 80 in similar condition because the lanes are wider. town traffic i go much slower. very much depending on conditions. all these on slightly wider than stock handle bars and Givi e21 side boxes on.

Hey guys. I have a peculiar issue with my bike. My neutral lights seems to show like the bike is low on batt(Flickering and diminishing) . But i've checked it and its a reasonable 12.6v. Not satisfied i removed it and re-charged the batt and its now a very good 13.4v. Plugged it back in and its still flickering. Alternator and rectifier working fine after testing. Flickering of the neutral lights glows steady as i rev it a bit. But dims significantly when i depress the brake lights... Any idea guys?

Yes, Hehe... Mine was 4 pieces, then later i can change to SuperBrace (2 piece) and now i'm using Rick's ForkBrace (2 piece)

 

 

ConfuseRider, it's ur choice... just my 2 cents input....

it could be the electrical relay prob but dont care just ride
