There is a shop along Lavender Road near to Motorworld that stretch have a tool shop. They have a brand call Battery Tender Charger. Can get it from there.

I found this shop, Alltools Trading Pte Ltd (http://www.alltools.com.sg/) at 161 Lavender Street between Foch and Tyrwhitt Roads.

I met the ultra friendly Mr Richard Ang and he offered me the German Deutronic EBL70 Smart battery-charger (http://deutronic.com/battery-chargers/70-watt.htm) which he said was on promotion at $190 + GST. I felt that it was too sophisticated for my needs so he showed me a French product, GYSTECH 750 (http://gys.fr/prod-024977-8/Battery_charger/GYSTECH_750/en). I bought that for $85 + GST.

I used the GYSTECH_750 to charge my spare battery today. After 3 hours, the battery was fully charged as the LED changed from red to green.

can you keep the Gystech 750 permanently connected to the bike or do you have to remove it once the batt is fully charged?

According to the GYSTECH 750 Data Sheet available at their website:

"Smart charger delivering an automatic charge, charging the battery to 100% and can be left charging unsupervised.

Protection guarantee against: short circuits, polarity reversals, overloading".

You can get further confirmation from Richard Ang of Alltools Trading at tel. no. 62958722.

yes mate, it is best to charge the new battery b4 installation, reason is you do not know how long she has been sitting on the shelf b4 it was sold to you. TQ 4 asking

Yes for your new battery - jus charge it under the normal mode. Reconditioning mode should be use to desulfate yr battery ( depending on the condition of your battery at least 2 or 3 times a year ) Mate - have you read the CTEK MXS5.0 manual ??

No mate - CTEK has release a Lithium Battery Charger - I am waiting for the stock to arrive into SG.
