Hi to all CBR 1100XX riders. Its been an interesting time reading all the posts in this thread. Just to announce that I am bowing out of the hypersports arena. Sad to let go of my BB and at the same time looking forward to go touring with my BMW GS. It came with an offer I cannot ignore...

 

It is a superb bike and I enjoyed the experience at the helm of one of the fastest bike in the world. If I can choose again, I'll still choose the Bird over the Busa & the Kawa.. Cheers..

had noticed a trend of hypersports riders changing to pure tourers.

for the vavle clearance, i was quote $350 for not only clearance,tuning,replace of shims,top gasket etc. 1 and half day job. You can try ah lai at ubi 2 or 3 shops after dexing towards TP hq.

 

Dont worry i will update you on this ride as soon we can get words into action

Heard from De***g the 1200XX coming out somewhere in July.... machine price ard 19k. Catalog haven come out.... but say got 2 exhaust. How true,... just wait and see. Anybody booking.... as seem suddenly more and more selling out BB and Haya.... waiting for new Bird in town.... be scared....

Even if it's coming out this July I doubt it'll be around 19k. 24 - 25k is more like it. Anyways the rumour has been out for god knows how long already. Just keep posted to the Honda Japan Web page. That's the place which should be more credible i think.

I also heard frm the same source thath they have stop plans of the 1200 and nothing new will be coming out for the blackbird especially in 1200cc

Hi guys would like to hear feedback on when is the best time to enter JB, from 2nd link and then exit via woodlands. Went there yesterday day at 12 midnight . 2nd link was smooth no traffic but Woodlands was horrible around 2 am. Jammed up with SG cars.
