im currntly using brackets fix together wit the original footrest...the pillion footrest now is abit higher,n when i corner my shoe does not scrap the road anymore...

Its Totally Not About The Bike,But its Totally Bout The RIDER!!

Posted

fixed it last yr,

Pros: wont scrap your footrest easily cos its now higher

Changing gear is damn smooth and has got a light feeling(this is my perception)

Looks good.

saved my full system(not a single scratch) when i got hit by car and went down hard on the right. In a way it acts like a slider since its longer than stock.

Cons: rear brake is weaker(again this is my perception, some other bros may feel otherwise)

a lot of vibration.

one DIY solution for reducing(not eliminating) vibration is to install rubber washers..it wud absorb some of the vibrations...

was using the motoworld one.

i think BioMoDiFIed's solution should do the trick.

btw 1 more plus point, the footrest is freaking light, and u will be surprised at how heavy the stock one is.

jus got mine. at motoworld. ard 280.

At first, not too used as the legs are not so relaxed. but after a short while, very nice to kick gear liao. and also, toes wun scrape floor when corner. I like the new posture alot. lean forward naturally. dont have to purposely lean. muahahaha

hmmm. talking about rubber end. any bros found and? fixed it?

im thinking of fixing balancer leh. will work?

weak rear brakes? ermm. my bike always have weak rear brakes... but i like it that way, cos last time skidded with my 2b bike, when i kanchiong, rear brake press too hard. and also, some s4 bros told me, s4 engine brake very good. use engine brake.

ok. enuf excuses..:cheeky:

it is indeed abit more difficult to tap harder. cos of the posture.

as for vibrations. yes. more vibrations. once i hit vtec, at 8rpm, the vibes quite abit. but higher up, it reduce again. im trying to install stoppers or whatever, to c if i can fix this issue...

photos huh? will try to take it later.
