Bull, finally i've added side boxes. k la, its not as if i'm gonna go touring, but i just love e storage space. gd for grocery shopping and when i go for my runs at ECP, i have lots of space to keep my stuff. no more using of lockers for me. haha. next item to add is, a tank bra. one day when u're free, u bring me to e shop u recommended me e other day ah.

no prob bro.

that boxes looked so big man...surely make the XJR looked bigger than a average 400cc bike...

How much did the boxes cost and have you got any other bigger photos to post?

 

I'm looking to do a similar setup but don't know where to begin.

begin with affordable WING-racks...

 

tank bra get from motor world $160 need to order 1.5 month .

i just get 1

@S$160, that's not too ex...but tank bras is not for me..

 

why no try the hebco & baker

these boxes are often seen on african twins...

strong & sturdy, expensive too!

when i got my bike, i was fortunate enuff tt it came along wit e wing rack. i got e side boxes by luck also. i've actually been looking for side boxes for quite awhile, but due to my budget, i couldn't. suddenly, there was this guy louis21 tt wanted to sell his wing rack and side boxes, here in SB. so, i bought e boxes from him at $130. i think it was quite a bargain. i think his wing rack should still be available, but his right signal light broke off ah.

Do they get in the way when there's pillion on the bike?

 

I can see how this brings an added support for the pillion to anchor on to with the legs if it's not getting in way, however it also seems that steering and cornering is also compromised?

 

Correct me if I'm wrong but because of the boxes you have also now changed your style of riding?

Luckily after your checks with the doctors, it turned out to be bruises & nothing more than that...got a shock receiving sms from u gg to see the doctor..at least now, everyone would feel better...
