Meeting Point: Kembangan MRT Station

 

 

 

Dear XJRers,

 

With the new year 2008 here, this is the #4 Meet Up since August 07 & our first in 2008. Hopefully we can start a regular meet-ups this calender year. How about some tourings thrown in (any tour leaders here??) & some other local activities (eg Bowling Nite, Movie Night, Family Day etc). Since the group is rather small, i would need everyone support and participations for the activities above. More will be discuss in the upcoming Jan 08 Meet-Up.So, unique bikers, do come by & know ur riding XJR friends....

Back home sweet home.

 

Anyway I bought a waterproof jacket, Duhan D-035, at HK$680, thats about SG$130.

Jacket with elbow, shoulder, back protective guard, with Yamaha logo.

 

I removed the inner lining and rode under out hot sun, so far ok lah, dont feel so hot like leather jacket.

 

For viewing, please come along this Saturday!

 

 

Seriously, do we need to book tables at wherever we are going, cause quite a big group le!

its good for all bikes..i been using it...good & lasting..u not coming this sat for the meet-up?

 

hs400, harris is a good non sticky & quite durable hand grips. i am currently using one. Good i must say. Hopes this helps. even at S$26, its worth every single cents.

 

How is the bt21 tyres? good tyres? how did it performed during the wet weather?? give us a review here ok?

Well that is ok, at least now i have xjrIzaac23 with me looking out for more XJRers to join our small Yamaha community here.

Ur bike needs a bit of work to get it running, but it doesnt seem that bad. A little tune here & there will do the trick, but to pass inspection is another thing. Hopefully your Fighting Spirit will be ready in time for the subsequent meet-ups. We do what we can for any riders more ever, a XJRer.

Get a good engine oil though as that is important on oil/air cooling engine like ours, MOTUL 5100($16 per bottle) or Esso GOLD are some good brands. A new spark plugs, good EO, new air filters & original oil filters is very much needed to get the Yammie roaring again.

It was not a good response last Mon. So I and the rest head to JB for coffee and top up. If you guys are OK next time we can just go JB for top up and coffee in Gelang Patah. We normally ride via 2nd link no matter what time as we do not want to get stuck in custom. Our time are normally 10pm onwards.

 

As for the big ride, we are still in the midst of planning. Probably in April but nothing is finalise yet (could be Thai or a loop of Malaysia), not even the dates. Maybe you should join one of our rides.

400cc is not the issue, Bro!! It is the spirit of riding. Lots of Super four had reached Thailand. So, time for you guys to prove XJR can do the same. Bikers always ride to the max.....Hahahaha!!!
