hi all, recently, i accidentally drop my s4 while washing and now sometimes cannot start the bike.. anyone noe wats the problem.. got cranking sound but its seem cannot fire up the engine.. when bring to bike shop, my bike can start then the mech say he cannot pinpoint the problem cuz my bike just happen to work fine each time i make trip down to the bike shop.. im riding v tech1.. i already change spark plug btw..

anyone noe wats the prob, im so frustrated cuz sometimes my bike stall in the middle of road when idling and i freaking need to push start my bike and ppl keep horning at me..

could not be the battery fault cuz horn still loud and light still bright..

juz sharing but the problem might differs, i skidded once & the bike can't start..luckily is at jalan kayu whr thrs a bike shop..pushed there & the mech said dunno wat thing can't recalled overflowed & got wet therefore cannot start..but after rectifying no encounter liao

Under each carb there is a small flat screw for draining the fuel. You can access only to two on each side. Use a flat head screw driver (long one to access the inner carb) and turn anticlockwise to release the fuel for a few second. The float may be stuck during the toppling of the bike. Good luck.

per caliper roughly abt $70 inclusive of bleeding. if need to change caliper piston, prepare to pay more. abt $25 per piston x 4 piston per caliper (depends on how many need to b replaced).

Hey guys anyone know if spec 1 exhaust headers is the same as spec 3 one? I am using stainless steel headers but would like to keep a stock set. Saw someone selling spec 1 headers in the sales section.

if oil is leaking directly under the sidestand? is it because of the gear shifter oil seal broken? it's already been about 4 days, any bad effects on it?

cos i work 12hours shift, very hard to go the bikeshop unless on the weekend.

hi LXY. thanks for the input, but i already checked below the bike and i don't think it's leaking engine oil, because this oil is thinner than eo. i also checked the eo glass it's still in between the min and max marking. so i doubt it's the eo..

 

plus the eo nut below is not leaking any oil, unless there's some crack near the sidestand area which may leak eo. hmm..

1) Notice that when i run over a "bumb" on the road there is a "hard knock" like as though i hit something... coming from the fork....what could be the issue ?.....

2) Rear brake pedal, Need a bit more effort to press the lever cuz it feels quite hard.

1 week ago means there is some sort of warranty for the bike....let the mech check it out and do for free......

 

as far know u suddenly hit a serious knock....they will be sound as the tyre hit the front fender or something.... last time my SP i hit on a bump..the front fender break.....

 

2nd ur rear brake nid to service liao....i also gonna service my front too...same effect as urs..hhaa

Hi all, any idea wat it means if e speedometer did a second batt test(e needle turning round) when u crank start ur engine? Thou it doesn't always happen, but still quite frequent. Just replaced my coil, rectifier and batt. Tks

If u turn in ignition key .. And it goes 2 times means low batt... If u crank and failed to start up engine... Sometimes it will do the engine check one more time.. It's normal

I turn my ignition it does a check. I crank start my engine it Does another check. Normally I only need to crank once then start Liao. It had never happen before only these few days. When it does another check e lights turn off and in again too. Wonder if it's really normal? Or e fuse fault?
