Just bought voltmeter from a forum. where do normally tap the wire?? i tap to the headlamp. at what is the standard voltage when on and start the engine??

hi i just wanna ask is it normal if i on my s4 spec1, the front 2 signal light will be on? i actually tho it is this way whenever i on my bike, till my friend ask me why my 2 signal light in the front is always on? now im confused? is it supposed to be like this? btw my 2 back signal light is only on when i use my turn signal and hazard.

Hi Everybody,

1. Top up full tank, rode 189km already and fuel gauge has only 2 bars left.

 

2. Friend observe that when the bike hit Vtec zone @ 7k rpm and above, a lot of black smoke comes out (in neutral or in gear, both instances got black smoke)

 

Could it be because the fuel mixture is too rich?

i think is just too much carbon in the exhaust. nv on vtec? i think actually mine also. lol! seldom on vtec.

Stock front signal lights is always on.. don't worry. unless u change to those LED type then the front signal light wont on. because the front signal light got three wire.

vtec1,2 ,is awalys on the front 2 singnal !

if u don't singnal light awalys on ,pls open yr singnal cover and take out the blub ,

front signal light got three wire

got 2 conet at blub ,sticker up 1 conet and try which 1 is singnal light is on !

eazy and fast 2minit can finish ..........

If brake fluid is seeping out from the Front brake reservoir, what could be the cause ?

last time is 40.00 blue 3month ago ! but now no idea ........

black smoke still is ok meybe engine is cool or so long time no drive fast ,

but if ( white ) smoke come out is the BIG problem oledi !

must take to check bro !

What about the fuel consumption? 189km traveled and fuel gauge only 2 bars left? I understand a full tank should be able to give 300km at least?

it really depend on how you ride it...mine spec 3 around 350km then hit blinking reserve..mine left 2 bar should be reaching 240 to 260km.... but in the end still have on average 23km/h......ALL STOCK super 4 should at least + or - 20km/l

I don think it is ok.... by right they shouldnt be anything coming out unless it is on very cold weather where you can see some smoke...if its in the hot afternoon u see smoke after it warm up...something is wrong somewhere....You can try to get your carb wash and synced before any other next step..... or go to ur mech and tell him your prob... 2 option:)

That I can say is no problem... Definately after rain without sun... Even the cars have smoke out from their exhaust

just to clarify another issue.

last night i start to hear a very soft tak sound somewhere from my carb or engine during iding.. still wondering what's that sound.. it comes in a interval of 20secs i guess.. on and off which is inconsisent.. but didnt affect the performance of my engine..

 

hope someone can manage to find a solution to it
