Could also be the headlight switch itself. I'm now on my 3rd headlight switch in 1.5 months!

 

I fitted a headlight switch last month at U*****. After about 2 weeks, the switch died. Same symptoms. High beam ok, no low beam light. Went back to the shop and they replaced the switch. The 2nd switch lasted about the same 1.5 weeks. This time, the switch button pushed the wire connector out. These switches are super low quality ones. It's a pain to have to go back to the shop but at least they have the decency to replace it for free.

Haha today morning, didn't do anything the headlight went on again.. o.O must be the wire?? At first nothing, then press the on the light came on liao. Any ideas?

Can try lah but I use saliva to do lubrication leh...it has the properties that provides the ablity to lubricate and provide better conductivity.

guys how do i check if my fan is still working or is my thermostat faulty.....

1.i jus wan to check with u guys. shd brake pad be sitting on the brake disc closely, or shd it have a little not touching the brake disc.

 

2. how much will it cost if the brake piston is jammed. do we need to replace the piston, service or repair the piston??

1. u cant see d gap cuz it will b very close with d disc. but wat u can do is to spin d wheel, it shld b able to move freely without any immediate resistance.

 

3. s4's each caliper has 4 pistons. i replaced mine at $25 per piston 2 yrs ago. bear in mind, the price of replacing d piston is additional to d price of servicing d brake calipers.

[Q] Anyone knows how to install the ACERBIS (MX Uniko Handguard) onto Spec 3 before? I went to ah boy shop and buy as they told me that it can be installed easily.. When i tried to installed onto my bike, i realised that there is no space to install it..

 

After researching the whole afternoon today, i then realised that i get smoke when i buy at ah boy shop yesterday.. Would have to buy fat bar in order to install handguard.. Any recommendation of the brand and shop to buy fat bar? Is riding still the same after changing to fat bar? Required advice

Have you check your coolant? Maybe no more reserve at all or not enough coolant. Can check on the left side of your bike.

[Q] any fat bar brand to recommend? Went ah boy shop to buy ACERBIS handguard and was told that can easily mounted but without the knowledge that fatbar is required too..

 

Anyone can advice if riding is still as smooth and normal after changing to fat bar?

Hey guys,

 

Whenever I ride over bumps on the road, they hit my bike hard and I can pretty much 'feel' every one of them. It is like my suspension is not even there. Should I be servicing both my front fork and rear suspension already? Or does my bike just need some adjustments?

 

yup, u might need to service both of ur sus with a higher viscocity of fork oil.. can look for david ong! at bradell..

but fyi, s4 exhuast system is really low de, hence sometimes must go really slow or crawl over the hump.

oh man. i got the same problem as bro @thechosenx! on the bike, no low beam but high beam ok.. wth man. then i open up my headlight, adjust it myself, got low beam liao, NICE!! then put back the headlight, low beam gone again.zzzzzzzzzzzz, after that i give up, put back headlight, 1 screw cannot put back, in the end put 2 screw only, tml morning go bike shop do liao. sian! will update here what's the problem.. wish me luck guys.

Haha Jayz, for me right now the low beam has been okay for me already. Sometimes it doesn't on only after i press the ignition the low beam comes on liao. Could it be low battery? Because I saw the forum guys say spec 2 when low battery, when on the bike the meters & rpm will spin twice? I dun think spec I have bah..
