Givi stuffs u can try MAH Motor. They gt windshield, box etc. all GIVI brand.

Bros i nid do spare key too for spec2. My mech say key $80, to reset the key HISS $100. Isit true???

 

So far Unique quote sixty. Still looking but likely going to Unique.

I got my spare at key shop next to ah boy.

$60 for 1 and the lady takes abt 15-30 mins to program.

Remember to bring all your keys as they need to program all at same time.

Otherwise, the original ones can't be used.

 

 

Maybe if we get more bros to get our keys done we could get discount. So how about it S4 bros?

Hie im finding super4 spec3, if anyone would like to let go do tell me or pm me. Possible IF carry on installment, change of ownership easy to say all paper works pay by me. Thanks!

hi all, would like to ask any guru or anyone whom has encountered a similar problem. why does my exhuast emit black smoke when i open vtec? any way to rectify the problem?

 

Too much carbon in exhaust thus the black smoke.

Is there any way to remove the carbon?

 

Go to a quiet place, rev your engine until red line on the rpm meter a couple of times, or rev until red line and hold there for a few seconds. You'll see black smoke/carbon being vomitted from your pipe. Do this only when your engine is well warmed up.

Hi all, been a S4 rider since Jan luckily my S4 hasn't been giving me any major engine issue. However there are some question I wish to clarify.

 

[Q]

 

1. What is wrong with me headlamp? I notice that the lights at times are intermittent.

 

2. When I first got my bike, the Tachometer died on me, thereafter change a brand new after market ones. however, comparing to the stock meter and the aftermarket I noticed that the speed is a little different. For example my stock meter used to show that vitec opens at 7k RPM with a speed of 110KM/H after that change its about 6.8k RPM at 120 KM/H so which is more accurate?

 

3.Also, the aftermarket tachometer seems to consume more voltage. My idling voltage dropped from 13.4V to 11.5V with headlamps on. Is this healthy as well?

 

4. Just did my Sprocket change due to wear and tear. Change down from 15/46 to 15/45 whereas there is a drop in my FC from 23km/l to 19km/l. Is this normal? Note that my cruise speed is usually at RPM 6.5k right before vitec kicks in.

 

5. Finally I need to know when is it time for me to do a coolant flush and conrod servicing?

Loose connection somewhere.

Next time buy the original...u paid for what u got.

Change ur voltmeter or throw it away. What to measure..go get a proper test multimeter and do the measurement.

ALL is not normal b4 and after change. Next time use 15/44.

Do only when its necessary...no such thing as fixed period of time.

depends on the shop price.

 

i gt mine for 65 which is ex imo but what the heck, already in the shop, batt already dieing so just change loh.

Average price is $65 anything above $70 is a rip off, anything below $60 is better double confirm its a yuasa ytx-9-bs...its rated at 12v8aH. Maintenance free battery.

If u plan to diy change,remember to read the manual tat came in the box first b4 doing anything...

Wah no wonder u said $65 ex... Its a yusa brand and its only 9v whereas super 4 uses 12v battery...9v battery can power up ur bike uh bro???hehehehe...no offence....heehehee...

Hey Ah pek! thanks for the reply! Erm my bad, my sprocket is 15/44 after looking at it again, is this the original confi? if so to save on my FC if i use back the 15/46 what are the side effects?

 

Also I notice after a 30 min ride back from Toh Guan to BP my fan starts running. Is this a sign that i needed to do coolant flush already? As in regarding reply to No.5 How do i know if Its the necessary time?

photo1.jpghey guys, i encounter a problem. there is some coolant of fuel have been dripping from my right hand side of the 3 tubes. i have no idea why. it always occur during the afternoon. i went to shop he say either my coolant or my fuel overflow but my fuel was once full and now half. it occur 2 times already. shop say it is nothing. but kinda kan chiong about it. any advice will be much appreciated. thank you in advance.
