chiong filter is bigger and shiny black. original is smaller and matt black.

this is what the bikeshop advice me.

anymore advice for me?

thanks

U have to fix the con-rod soon, if it is really causing the problem. If not, the engine maybe damaged in the long run.

Sometimes, too many opinions confuse u further. Why not bring it to ur regular bike shop tat u think u can trust?

Time taken to do is all up to the mechanic to advise u. But best to do a good job, not a rush job.

Gilera St200 or Super 4 Spec III

I know it is not in the same league to compare but let say im gonna use it for 5 years, im wondering if:

1.in term of reliability which is better?

2.Also taking consideration that i travel 100km a day, which one should i get?

3.In terms of comfy riding which is better?

4.Wear and tear?

5. In term of long term cost.

Factor to consider -

a. I'm staying in JB.

b. Cost.

c. Longterm usage ( 5 years )

Need you guyz opinion on this. Thanks.

1.in term of reliability which is better?

ans: if u take gd care of ur bike, both is reliable

2.Also taking consideration that i travel 100km a day, which one should i get?

ans: depends on u, u wan gear changing or throttle n go?

3.In terms of comfy riding which is better?

of cos gilera:faint:

auto bike mah, throttle n go, no need gear shifting

4.Wear and tear?

both the same, depending on how u use ur bike

5. In term of long term cost.

ans: gilera FC is better than s4 by a bit, then its a 2b bike, logically its cheaper

Factor to consider -

a. I'm staying in JB.

ans: get a gilera, stuck at custom jam very relax, just throttle n go

b. Cost.

ans: as mentioned above

c. Longterm usage ( 5 years )

ans: u find out urself:dozed:

i left my bike for cone-rod repair this morning.

just wondering a few things.

1. does this consider overhaul engine?

2. need run-in after that?

3. when they repair the cone-rod do they service other part in the engine like timing chain or piston etc?

any1 has any experience?

thanks
