2) What are the pros and cons for repacking?

Thanks

I gues the best for you is to go ahead and do what you wanna do and find out as no one has done it so far. Everyone will learn from you. The next or or more bike shop be telling you the same thing..even worst, contradictory and would confused you more. End of the day, since you still would not buy the expensive original to replace..you still have to do it after all. Keep us inform of your result, I think there are a lot of rider with situation like yours and like to hear from your result.

IMHO...I think it would not work. Replacing the whole unit circuit board seem to be the only way out.:sian:

Hi guys juz recently bought a Revo from BP. Advised by them to travel below 70 km/h for the next 2000km as the engine is new. Read the manual and stated that engine break in period is 500km so which is which? It sucks to ride below 70 km/h...Appreciate that you guys could help me out since this is my 1st S4.

do bare in mind that after 999km it will go back to 0 and start all over again. and i think if battery is disconnected it will reset as well.. if you are already aware of that but still there's this auto reset thingy.. then i not sure also.. haha..

Hi I need to do 10000 km servicing soon.

What items should I change and service and what to look out for?

Thanks.

Nothing much to do..what the manual say is just a reference for mostly check items. Just make sure everytime you change eo timely and check water coolant and if your chain slack is too much, just adjust.

If the coolant is brownish..its sign of rust and contamination..have the hose clean and system rinse and refilled with fresh coolant.

Brakes...have to check if it's worn out. If you can't tell, can always wait for the screeching sound to come out when you brake..meaning, the pad has worn to its base plate.

Brake fluid..usually not necessary unless the level feels spongy and soft and control feel of braking when level is squeeze is not effective.

You want can come to Teck Ghee Square Blk 409 Kopeetiam smoker corner AMK Ave 10 this Sunday at 9.45am to 10.15 am. Fellow rider can help out. Saturday at void deck, 11:30 am 469 AMK Ave 10..I be there if you need some advise.

You go bike shop, they will tell you almost everything when they know you know nothing much..unless, its someone you know and can be trusted. Watch your head..parang these days all gold plated ones..

Must be poor paint work..not "baked" when last done or prep surface no good. Have a good painter redo the job.
